Ce n'était pas notre premier choix pour notre sortie mère -fils mais heureuse d'y être rentrée. Nous étions assis au bar avec Gabriel notre barman. Le décors est beau, beaucoup de plantes, bonne musique & éclairage parfait. Nous avons commandé une dégustation de dumplings. Délicieux! N'hésitez pas à prendre la sauce arachides pour 1$ plus. J'ai mangé un pas thaï au crevettes. Sublime! Mon fils, un général Tao, le meilleur qu'il ait mangé selon lui! Bon service de Gabriel. Allez-y vous serez enchanté!
We decided to this place agin since we had a hood experience the first time, but unfortunately it was very disappointing.
I tried the wonton soup, & it was honestly the worst one I've ever had. We also ordered poke bowls, & neither of us enjoyed them.
The food lacked flavor & did not meet our expectations at all. Sadly, we won't be returning.
The appetizers were so good - definitely my favorite part!
I found the Pad Thai a bit too spicy for my taste, but I don't eat spicy food at all. My friends really enjoyed it though.
The poke bowls were very good, & the portions were generous.
As for the drinks, they were okay - not bad, but not a standout for us.
Overall, yes, I would recommend this place. The music wasn't too loud, so we could easily talk to each other, & the service was great. 😊
J'ai été reçu avec arrogance .
Apres avoir attendu 15 min debout à la reception, aucun accueil. Mon conjoint m'appelle car il cherche ou se stationner & je pose la question à un serveur qui vient vers moi , tout à fait par hasard. Je dis avec politesse :' Excusez- moi, où peut-on se stationner par ici?'
Je me fais répondre avec arrogance :' Bonjour Mme !!' , puis il arrête & me regarde avec l'air hautain du petit jeune qui veut te faire la morale parce que tu as , dans l'empressement de répondre à ton conjoint qui est coincé dans le traffic, oublié de lui dire'Bonjour' avant de lui poser une question alors que tu es totalement ignoré depuis 15 min. ( ambiance t'es juste un client, apres tout)
Un autre serveur gentil m'offre une table après que je lui demande si on peut m'en trouver une & il semble alors confus car il pensait que j'attendais un take out ( mauvaise communication entre les serveurs)
Le serveur à la table etait toutefois tres serviable & gentil.
Déçus par notre cari rouge car ne goutait pas la cuisine thai . Peut être qu'un ingredient a été oublié? Est-ce juste une poudre d'epices mis sur le repas? Le resto semble géré par des employés dont certains ont un gros ego

Étant une grande fan de cuisine thailandaise ... Le curry rouge avait une sauce très salée & contenait beaucoup de fécule de maïs & les crevettes était vraiment petites.

Après avoir passé un hiver en Thaïlande c'est difficile de juger un Pad Thaï au Québec mais celui du Sesame a de très bonne note.
L'ambiance c'est rien de spécial , nous n'avons pas aimé l'organisation des tables, manque d'espace & d'intimité
Le général Tao est généreux en poulet avec peu de friture- très bon. Salade de mangue & pad thaï bons mais trop relevés- serait interessant de pouvoir doser le degré de piquant
Malheureusement trop d'attente entre les services. De plus, nous avons attendu un bon 20 minutes avant de pouvoir commander notre drink. J'avais indiqué que c'était pour mon anniversaire, aucune attention reçu., dommage. Poké bon malgré tout, soupe thail coco manque un peu de goût.
This was not my first time here, but the food experience was the worst. One of my friends got the soup so cold, she had to go back & request to heat it up. The pokes came with old & cold rice, my Pad Thai contained only the tails of the broccoli with no heads. I mean seriously? We went on Sunday & it seems we got the leftovers of Saturday!
I've been to Thailand a few times & I have eaten red curry in many places in Montreal - I have to say that their red curry sauté just isn't it & it doesn't taste remotely close to it. The food wasn't bad & there was a good amount of shrimps, but don't call it red curry if it won't taste like it. Music was a bit loud & tables very close to each other, but great service & great drinks as well. I might go back, but I'll definitely go with lower expectations for any authenticity.
