The food was very good, but the portions were very small for the price. It was 25$ for a small bowl of chicken teriyaki- & there was barely any chicken in it… it didnt even seem to be half a chicken breast worth of meat.
It was overwhelmingly vegetables, which were amazing (cooked & flavoured right) but i definitely expected more chicken. I paid 3$ extra for it to be served with fried rice instead of regular (fried rice was also delicious). So in total my plate was 28$ which is very pricey in my opinion for the amount of food i got. The rice too was small in quantity imo.
IN SUMMARY- i really enjoyed the taste but just found the portions tiny. & im not usually someone who eats in large quantity.
I also got a drink which was decent, nothing to go crazy over. In total with tip i spent just under 60$.
I dont think i would go back because of the portion- & if i did go back i think it would be way more worth it to just buy the tasting menu for 2 rather than my own plate..

Nous sommes allés plusieurs fois au Sésame. Le décor & l'ambiance est bien! La cuisine est généralement bonne mais il y a parfois quelques bémols comme du riz trop cuit, des dumplings plus durs & les desserts sont pas top. Après avoir vue le montage des desserts, nous avons sauté le service.
Chaque fois que je réserve pour 2 on se fait placé au comptoir du bar & ce n'est pas vraiment plaisant. Les bancs ne sont pas espacées de façons régulières donc parfois on est plus proche des autres que de la personne avec qui on est. La machine à slush est toujours pratiquement vide & vous flash dans le visage tout le long du repas. Hier il y avait particulièrement beaucoup de mouches autour du bol à fruits au bar, c'était ordinaire.
En gros, plus le temps passe plus la qualité de ce restaurant diminue. J'aurais mis un 5 étoiles l'an dernier mais je ne suis plus de cet avis.

Un peu bruyant quand c'est plein, mais si vous aimez cela, vous serez comblés. Je recommande cette place & vais définitivement y retourner. Serveuse au bar (jolie blonde, samedi le 16 août) absolument charmante. Merci.
La nourriture est très bonne mais très dispendieux. Le serveur a oublier la moitié des repas car il devait s'occuper du bar & s'occuper de service aux tables. Jamais vue ça. En plus on nous offre un table commune on s'attend à une grande table non. Une table à 4 & nous installe 5 . Nous 3 plus 2 autres personnes . La pauvre était au bout de la table . Je commande un tartarre avec frite je reçois un tartare & on me charge un supplément pour la salade. Je refuse & on me rembourse pas. On a entendue la facture pendant 20 min debout. Jamais plus ce restaurant

Food portions are small
We sat at the bar with one bartender that was trying to serve his customers & serving the waiters drink orders. He had no time for his customers that sitting at the bar. We ordered hot sake. He poured our sake in a plast container & microwaved it. By doing so it changed the taste of the sake. Maybe consider bottle warmers
J'aime bien ce resto. Section bar en ce week-end hivernal on sent bcp le vent froid de style courrant d'air. Le serveur m'a proposé pour mon poke demi salade demi riz. De retour a la maison je note un extra pour la salade sur la facture pas tres eleve mais quand même non mentionné. Beau plat savoureux toutefois parfait avant un spectacle
This is supposed to be the coconut thai soup. It looks more to me like an oil soup that tastes barely anything (except the tofu inside that was the only good tasting ingredient) Very underwhelming in taste & overwhelming in oil. Basically a big 20$ thrown in the trash, & an empty stomach. The restaurants here around really are bad

La gérante a voulu nous mettre au bar, malgré une réservation ! Ce n'était pas approprié, ni apprécié. De plus, la nourriture était simplement passable; le riz frit était d'une très mauvaise qualité. Dommage...
Très beau restaurant, belle ambiance au bar & la nourriture est juste excellente ! Le menu découverte était parfait pour deux. Première visite & pas la dernière Merci
Sesame Boucherville & Montreal are great. We reserved a table. We were made to wait while they seated other ppl. Finally seated at the bar even though we reserved a table. Food was under cooked & service was slow
Nous avions réservé une table & à notre arrivée, on nous a assigné des places au bar. Habituellement, le restaurateur avise s'il ne lui reste que des places au bar. L'endroit où nous étions assis était très bruyant. Notre expérience a été décevante.
