Malheureusement trop d'attente entre les services. De plus, nous avons attendu un bon 20 minutes avant de pouvoir commander notre drink. J'avais indiqué que c'était pour mon anniversaire, aucune attention reçu., dommage. Poké bon malgré tout, soupe thail coco manque un peu de goût.
This was my third time at this restaurant, & unfortunately it was the first time I left feeling disappointed. It was a quiet evening with only about three tables seated, yet when I walked in, I was neither greeted nor acknowledged. I eventually found my reserved table on my own, & we then waited about 30 minutes before anyone came to see us. Our drinks took another 20 minutes to arrive, & the food was served lukewarm.
No one checked in to ask how the food was or whether we needed anything. The only time we were approached was at the end, when we were asked,'How many bills?'
It was especially embarrassing because it was my first time bringing my friends here, & the experience did not reflect the positive visits I've had in the past.
The food was very good, but the portions were very small for the price. It was 25$ for a small bowl of chicken teriyaki- & there was barely any chicken in it… it didnt even seem to be half a chicken breast worth of meat.
It was overwhelmingly vegetables, which were amazing (cooked & flavoured right) but i definitely expected more chicken. I paid 3$ extra for it to be served with fried rice instead of regular (fried rice was also delicious). So in total my plate was 28$ which is very pricey in my opinion for the amount of food i got. The rice too was small in quantity imo.
IN SUMMARY- i really enjoyed the taste but just found the portions tiny. & im not usually someone who eats in large quantity.
I also got a drink which was decent, nothing to go crazy over. In total with tip i spent just under 60$.
I dont think i would go back because of the portion- & if i did go back i think it would be way more worth it to just buy the tasting menu for 2 rather than my own plate..
I've been to Thailand a few times & I have eaten red curry in many places in Montreal - I have to say that their red curry sauté just isn't it & it doesn't taste remotely close to it. The food wasn't bad & there was a good amount of shrimps, but don't call it red curry if it won't taste like it. Music was a bit loud & tables very close to each other, but great service & great drinks as well. I might go back, but I'll definitely go with lower expectations for any authenticity.

The place is beautiful, very cozy & modern. The food was delicious - I had the fried wontons with peanut sauce & they were amazing 🤤. For drinks, I tried the spicy margarita, which was also delicious but definitely on the very spicy side (I'd maybe go with a little less jalapeno). Prices were fair, not exorbitant at all, which makes the whole experience even better. Great food, great vibe, great service. I'll definitely come back!
Le resto était presque vide mais notre serveuse ne semblait pas très intéressée à nous servir. Une fois la commande faite on a eu nos assiettes assez rapidement au moins.
Les drinks étaient bien, la bouffe était bien mais pas exceptionnel non plus.
Overall, our experience was great at Sésame! The service was a bit slow (we needed to be out for the concert & were rushing at the end) but the restaurant was full due to it being a concert night. The drinks were either really big or super small for the same price. The wonton soup wasn't our favourite (too many items inside other than the wontons), but we loved the shrimp pad sew & dumplings platter. It would've been good to have more guidance from the waitress on what to order & how it worked.
Food portions are small
We sat at the bar with one bartender that was trying to serve his customers & serving the waiters drink orders. He had no time for his customers that sitting at the bar. We ordered hot sake. He poured our sake in a plast container & microwaved it. By doing so it changed the taste of the sake. Maybe consider bottle warmers
The food was good but very pricey for what it was. 90$ taste menu for two is a lot of money. Go with the poke bowl & an entree. Much better value. & the 17$ drink made no sense price wise.
The service & atmosphere was excellent. Always a pleasant experience.
Food wasn't bad but wasn't the best either & definitely too expensive for what you get in my opinion. Where the review goes down is definitely the service. Not once did they check up on us. If we needed something we had to go get a server (if we even could). We weren't given forks when we were seated & for a good 5 minutes we were ignored by the staff when trying to get someone to ask for forks, in the end I had to get up & take forks from another table for us to be able to eat. The drinks we ordered at the beginning of our meal arrived either halfway through or by the end of the meal as they forgot to make them. Overall not the greatest experience. I'm sure it was just an off day, but still disappointing.

Excellent restaurant! Amazing atmosphere! For groups the big wood large table in the back is amazing! Never have I felt so comfortable & like home at a restaurant. The waitress was amazing. She was excellent with the service & the accommodations. The food was great as well! The drinks are not typical cocktail but they are inspired from typical ones. After tasting them I completly changed my point of view as they were delicious & very tasty. We had a great time & it was definitely not busy for a Saturday lunch which was great for us, less noise... I highly recommend & I will definitely go back.
A nice discovery with a great decor. Food was really good; next time would try a more vast menu choice. However service wasn't good at all. & took a slushed alcoholic drink & it felt like you were paying 20$ for frozen juice (do not recommend).
Nice place & I enjoyed my meal. Found the portion was reasonable & the food generally tasty. I'm not sure I can say anything bad, I mean it's rice & veggies & a protein. It was good. Just one small detail...why the chopstick in the drinks? Put an actual straw or a noodle to drink from like i've seen other places do.
