There's a strange vibe at this place. Every time I come here, no one smiles. It's like they're all unhappy with life, with each other, & even themselves. It's unsettling really. Seriously, how hard is it to be welcoming or at least neutral? I started thinking it was just me, but then an older woman came in, followed by a younger woman, & then an older man. It was the same thing. Anyways, the chocolate croissant is delicious, & the bread is good too. But the service & atmosphere? sh it.

Je suis arrêté pour du pain en croyant aller à une simple boulangerie. Quelle découverte ! Il y a tellement de gens qu'il faut prendre un numéro ! En plus du pain, j'ai acheté 2 desserts recommandés pas des clients. L'un est une tarte Amandine & l'autre je ne sais pas mais les 2 étaient délicieux !

Slightly disappointed that I visited the bakery on January 2, 2025 at 2:30pm, & there was no classic signature (vanilla, chocolate & almond) cake left by that time. I had a family member's birthday on that very same day, & drove from Montreal to Laval to get this specific cake. Also, reservations are not being taken because apparently, the bakery makes the signature cakes daily & has them in stock. The bakery felt half empty during my visit of January 2. My suggestion: Please allow for reservations for even regular cakes so that the situation I encountered doesn't happen to customers. Thank you!
