As someone with more than 8 years of professional experience working with businesses & customer service standards, I strongly value reliability, transparency, & proper planning - especially when a service is tied to an important family celebration.

Unfortunately, my recent experience was very disappointing. I had ordered a specific cake for my mother's birthday one week in advance, with a confirmed pickup time of 10:00 a.m. On the morning of the event, I received a call at approximately 9:00 a.m. informing me that the cake could not be completed because certain ingredients had not arrived from the supplier. This was surprising, especially after being told previously that cakes are normally prepared early in the morning around 5:00 a.m.

Although George did offer an alternative solution by proposing a different cake, it was not the one my mother had chosen or wanted for her birthday. At that point, with only one hour before pickup, I was left with very limited options. Because the original cake could not be made on the same day, I had to urgently contact several other bakeries at the last minute to find a replacement, which created unnecessary stress during what should have been a special occasion.

I understand that unexpected supply issues can happen in any business. However, when an order is placed a full week in advance, proper planning & supplier coordination should already be secured ahead of time. Ingredient availability is part of basic preparation, & discovering shortages only one hour before pickup does not provide customers with sufficient time to make alternative arrangements.

I hope this feedback encourages better planning, stronger supplier management, & earlier communication in the future to avoid similar situations for other customers.

This time my experience was worse I don't know every time I like their food but this time I took cake on my daughter's birthday next day she got food poisoning & I eat cake I got food poisoning it was disappointing this time

By far the best cheesecake on the planet!!!!! BRAVO!!!!!. I have been buying cheesecake from Serano for over 35 years & still the best. I have been trying cheesecakes from everywhere including cheesecake factory, dunns ,etc etc. Nobody comes close. Most other places they charge double for half a serano cake & still suck!!!. Was the best 65 year birthday cake that anyone could ask for!!! Don't change the recipe!!! Service was amazing too!!!! Anybody looking to buy a whole cheesecake this should be your only option ¡!

Cozy atmosphere with very welcoming staff! They carefully explain if you have questions about their cakes to make sure you get what you like. I got the vanilla almond & it is the best cake I've ever had! Will keep coming here for all my birthday cakes❤?

This bakery has a great selection of cakes & pastries. We ordered a whole tiramisu cake for a birthday, & it was a hit-everyone loved it! Good quality, generous portions, & reasonable prices.

Slightly disappointed that I visited the bakery on January 2, 2025 at 2:30pm, & there was no classic signature (vanilla, chocolate & almond) cake left by that time. I had a family member's birthday on that very same day, & drove from Montreal to Laval to get this specific cake. Also, reservations are not being taken because apparently, the bakery makes the signature cakes daily & has them in stock. The bakery felt half empty during my visit of January 2. My suggestion: Please allow for reservations for even regular cakes so that the situation I encountered doesn't happen to customers. Thank you!
