About us
Sabaidee! Welcome to Sep Lai! We serve traditional Laotian food using many local ingredients to create unique and authentic dishes. As is the norm in Laos, all our dishes are made to be shared! Although you may find similarities with other Southeast Asian dishes such as Thai or Vietnamese dishes, Lao cuisine is a distinct cuisine with its own complex and exciting flavors. Full of fresh herbs, raw vegetables, flavorful meats and always accompanied by a basket of sticky rice, we are proud to share this cuisine with everyone, including vegans, vegetarians and those sensitive to gluten! We hope that the dishes of our parents and grandparents will inspire you with the same comfort and joy as they do us, and that you will exclaim: "Sep lai! It was delicious!"

Excellent Laotian food! They have a good mix of plates to share & individual entrées, & Mains. The staff consistently have good recommendations. I was apprehensive about the laap but it was great. The soup is amazing. I highly recommend. It's BYOW & they'll bring out an ice bucket if you have white wine.View more

Excellent dining atmosphere, the food was tasty, & the desserts were really good. However, the portion size was very small. I ordered an appetizer (soup), a main dish (meat), & a dessert (crème brûlée), spending over $50 & still felt very hungry. Service was slow. We waited for a long time. The chair wasn't that comfortable. Overall, great food, but too expensive for what they offer. Don't think I will be back. I think this place is only suitable for people who has small appetite & who don't know much about Southeast Asian/Laotian food. It's pretty Westernized food.View more

La serveuse n'a pas ouvert notre bouteille de vin, au prix que sont les repas c'est un service que m'attends.

via LibroNotre restaurant préféré! Depuis plus d'un an & demi maintenant, nous allons près de deux fois par mois au Sep Lai. Nous y avons également apportez tous nos amis. Service, nourriture & ambiance incroyable! Par ailleurs, nous y sommes allé hier en soirée... Nous prenons toujours les mêmes assiettes, fidèle à nos habitudes nous avons prit la même chose. Lorsque les assiettes sont arrivées (surtout le Kua Mee), nous avons été terriblement déçus. Il n'y avait pas de sauce, un oeuf cuit dure, quelque carotte & du chou. Ensuite, (mon copain est végétarien) le Nem Khao était au porc & lorsque l'assiette est revenu au tofu suite à l'erreur, il restait des morceaux de porc dans l'assiette... & en finale, un court cheveux brun a été retrouvé dans la salade Laap. Définitivement, une drôle d'expérience à notre restaurant préféré!
