I had a great experience here. The coffee was fresh & well-made, & the atmosphere was cozy & perfect for studying or relaxing. The staff were friendly & the service was quick. Definitely a nice spot if you're looking for a good coffee break in the city. I'll be coming back!

Just arrived in Montreal & was looking for a hot coffee when I came across Second Cup. Such a cute & cozy spot! The staff was super friendly, there's plenty of space to sit, read, or work, & the selection of coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, & pastries is great.
Excellent first impression-will definitely be back. ☕?
The service is good. The staff are nice & very welcoming. There's no problem there but the frappe they made me was horrible. It was 90% ice with a touch of coffee. For 7.50$ it was really not worth it.
Got here for couple of times during my visit to Montreal, perfect service, coffee & food. Decent quality & lovely staff, specially the tall guy who looks like the manage
I'm a long-time customer of this café & i like the new look after the renovation. The interior design has improved a lot & the atmosphere feels really nice now. The staff are friendly, helpful, & always smiling. I really enjoyed my coffee & dulce de leche cake on a very cold day. recommended ✨
i had a cinnamon latte today morning. delicious & expertly crafted. exactly what I look for in a café. they have a great selection of coffee & & speciality drinks for each season, all made with care. definitely will come back again.I can tell the team really care about their customers, their welcoming & being friendly made my day
Extremely disappointed with my visit. I ordered filter coffee, & they served me a single shot with hot water, claiming it was filter coffee. The quality was terrible, & they were blatantly dishonest about it. The place also smelled like onion & food, making it impossible to enjoy coffee. I will never come here again & definitely won't recommend it!'
I learned today that this location does not receive online orders; so, be mindful of that.

PS: the place has become a restaurant as well: Quesada. My review is for the coffee shop which is not the traditional Second Cup anymore 😕
The cafe & the coffee itself are not bad, the service however isn't ideal. There was a cashier who was significantly rude. Maybe she was under pressure, this being a busy location, but she was quite uncivil.

I usually love Second Cup but this location is a major miss. The service was awful - two unfriendly baristas took my order, seemingly inconvenienced by the fact that a customer would come in to order a coffee. The coffee was lukewarm & I was instructed to move away from the milk counter, because I was'on the wrong side' even though there was no indication of there being a right or wrong side. Unpleasant experience overall.
We got lucky & were able to sit right up front so we got to enjoy our coffee & snack while watching people walk by.
This is a very busy corner, it was nice to slow down & warm up for a while!
This Second Cup is huge, there were many people either on their computers or just reading a book.
The noise level was very low for such a busy & large coffee shop. Coffee is always good at this chain!
Their baked goods were super fresh & well priced.
I must say that the person you really need service with is Derya! I ordered a dark chocolate hazelnut latte, & although it was really mixed, she patiently prepared my order. She was always smiling & very nice, cute girl! Your coffee shop needs those who work like Derya! See you soon!
