Went for my niece's birthday with my sister & brother in law. We ordered an extra lobster tail at 30$ to add to the boil. The waiter emptied the bag & just left without acknowledging us, no hello no smile, nothing. Other places add lemon all over the platter but he didn't bother didn't even talk to us. We then noticed we had nothing to break open the shells or the rods to push out the meat from the crab legs. We had to ask the waiter he then came back with scissors & cheap wooden rods unlike other locations that are metal. We then saw that the extra lobster tail we had ordered was not there. I mentioned it to the woman who took our order & she said she forgot & will get one ordered. We waited another 20 minutes to get it. She just put it on top of our platter with no sauce or anything on it. The platter was cold by then. My sister paid the bill & told me that the tip starting amount on the pad was 20% & even though she didn't like the service at all she still gave 20% tip & ordered a birthday dessert for her daughter. No one checked on us not even once the whole time we were there & left us with our tray & bucket of shells just sitting there long after we were done eating. The woman didn't even clear the table when she brought the cake & didn't bother to notice that my brother in law went to the washroom. She brought the cake with the candle & he missed it. She then placed it in front of my niece on the small space left on the table next to the dirty tray & was about to leave when I asked her to please clear the table. It's pretty obvious! Who wants to eat dessert with seafood shells & a tray of seafood sauce that was left but she was oblivious. Only when I asks did she pick up the tray but then left the bucket of shells. Continued to ignore us, I then called her over & asked her to please take the bucket she said she will send someone at that point I had enough & handed her the bucket & said please just take it so she did. Like how hard was that her hands were free so why call someone? Zero logic & horrible service. I then went to the counter to ask for an extra fork my niece wanted me to try her dessert the waitress started looking through a bag of wooden utensils while the metal ones were right behind her. I said can you please give me a metal one? She then gave me one. Why would I want a wooden one when I'm still in the restaurant it wasn't a to go order. Again no logic. I was a waitress for many years & I feel for people in the service industry however these two need real training they were lost or just didn't care they never once checked on us & forgot many things we were constantly chasing them to fix things. It was a frustrating experience. I will never go to that location again. We almost went to the one in the east end & regretted that we didn't. We know better for next time.
Honnêtement, une des meilleures expériences de fruits de mer que j'ai eues ! Le concept du seau de crabe est génial & super convivial. Tout est servi chaud, généreux & rempli de saveurs. Les crabes étaient ultra frais, les crevettes parfaitement cuisinées & la sauce… tout simplement incroyable ! Chaque bouchée était un vrai plaisir.
Les portions sont très généreuses & la qualité est vraiment au rendez-vous. On sent que les produits sont frais & bien préparés. En plus, le service est impeccable : personnel super accueillant, rapide & toujours avec le sourire.
L'ambiance est parfaite pour passer un bon moment entre amis ou en famille. On mange bien, on s'amuse & on repart satisfait. Franchement, c'est une adresse incontournable à Laval pour les amateurs de fruits de mer.
Je recommande à 100 % & je vais clairement revenir très bientôt !
I was excited to try this place because we love seafood but when we arrived the restaurant was quite dumpy. It looks more like a fast food place even though the prices are quite high. The restaurant has been open for 5 years & still looks like it's under construction. The bathroom sink did not even have hot water. The waitress was friendly but after taking our food order forgot our drinks & never checked on us the entire meal. The food itself was mediocre. The fried items (shrimp & squid) were very good. The batter was light & crispy & the squid was not overcooked. The boiled items on the other hand were disappointing. the lobster tail had most likely been frozen & then cooked to mush. It was barely edible. The snow crab legs were decent & the shrimp was very good. It was cooked properly & was not rubbery at all. The corn on the other hand was way overcooked to the point that the texture was terrible & the potatoes were similar. The mussels were large & juicy & went well with the signature sauce.
In summary, for a restaurant to be charging these prices I expected more. I will probably not go back.
Je ne fais jamais de commentaire….mais je ne peux pas restée silencieuse. À chaque commande, il manque TOUJOURS quelque chose. Cette fois-ci, j'ai pris la peine d'appeler juste après avoir passé la commande, la dame qui ma répondu m'a assuré qu'elle n'oubliera rien. J'ai eu que des faux espoirs, sur les 2 sauces d'accompagnement, j'en reçois une seule, aucun riz pour accompagner mon sceau tout petit sensé nourrir 4 personnes. Je décide de rappeler la dame, elle me répond sur la défensive en assurant que tout était dans le sac. Peut-être quand brulant le papier les items manquant auraient miraculeusement apparu, car selon elle, TOUT est là. J'ai du raccrocher la ligne au nez de la dame qui me criait dessus, qu'elle manque de professionnalisme & aucune prise de responsabilité pour des erreurs. Je conseille fortement d'évitez ce lieu, ridicule. & pour votre information, même en personne, le service est pitoyable, c'est malheureux que je suis forcée d'inscrire une étoile, avoir pu, je le mettrai au négatif.
The food was decent & a fun experience. It was so cold though the butter sauce in our dish hardened within 10 minutes of being set in front of us. Only one toilet & no changing table.
If you like seafood boil, you're in for a treat. We ordered the mixed bucket to share with some extra fried shrimp & calamari & it was amazing. The sauce was so tasty & the seafood was well cooked. The service was great too! It was our first time & our waiter guided us through the whole process.
Great price for the portion size, good quality seafood, but the standouts are the signature sauce & the service! Friendly & helpful with delicious flavours.

The waitresse was really nice she offered me to taste the different kinds of sauces for my order, the food was amazing & served fast. I greatly recommend!!
