Seau De Crabe draws mostly positive reviews for fresh, flavorful seafood, generous portions, and attentive service that many guests describe as the highlight of their dining experience in Laval. All you can eat shrimp and seafood boil specials are especially popular, offering tasty, plentiful options and good value when promotions are on, though a few guests note some dishes can be dry or under seasoned without sauce and occasional lapses in service. The ambiance is frequently described as welcoming and comfortable, sometimes lively, with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe that many consider ideal for family outings or casual dinners. A few reviews point to inconsistencies in staffing and slower service at peak times, but compliments about the quality of the food, the variety of menu options, and the overall experience abound. In summary, Seau De Crabe is viewed as a strong seafood destination with generous portions, competitive prices for the quality, and a generally high level of customer satisfaction that keeps guests returning.
On mange bien, on s'amuse & on repart satisfait.

I was excited to try this place because we love seafood but when we arrived the restaurant was quite dumpy. It looks more like a fast food place even though the prices are quite high. The restaurant has been open for 5 years & still looks like it's under construction. The bathroom sink did not even have hot water. The waitress was friendly but after taking our food order forgot our drinks & never checked on us the entire meal. The food itself was mediocre. The fried items (shrimp & squid) were very good. The batter was light & crispy & the squid was not overcooked. The boiled items on the other hand were disappointing. the lobster tail had most likely been frozen & then cooked to mush. It was barely edible. The snow crab legs were decent & the shrimp was very good. It was cooked properly & was not rubbery at all. The corn on the other hand was way overcooked to the point that the texture was terrible & the potatoes were similar. The mussels were large & juicy & went well with the signature sauce.
In summary, for a restaurant to be charging these prices I expected more. I will probably not go back.
