Le cadre est spacieux et propre et le service est généralement chaleureux et attentionné, même s’il arrive que le service soit lent ou l’expérience moins homogène et que la musique soit parfois trop forte; les prix peuvent sembler élevés pour certains, mais la qualité et l’authenticité restent largement appréciées, avec de nombreuses occasions de recommander pour les repas en famille, les anniversaires ou les dîners en amoureux et la nécessité de réserver à l’avance pour profiter au mieux de la carte. I've been to Saray Restaurant twice now… once for dinner & once for brunch… & both times felt like stepping into a slower, more intentional way of eating.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is very calm… soft Turkish music playing in the background, a spacious room, & these beautiful, intricate details everywhere. Even the plateware & tea sets caught my attention. I'm not even kidding… it made me want to buy all my homeware in Turkey.
It also feels like a close-knit place. The employees move like a family… comfortable, warm, & genuinely welcoming.
Both times I went with my friend Farzy, who invited me to help her film some content. I'm a hand model & a huge foodie, so we always end up mixing a little work & a lot of eating.
The first time, we ordered the Sultan dinner to share… & it's a full table experience. Adana, chicken wings, beef cubes, chicken skewers… served with rice, bulgur, golden potatoes, salad, & their house sauce.
The potato wedges were perfectly cooked & seasoned… crispy on the outside, soft inside. The side salads were fresh & flavorful, which balanced everything really well. & honestly… I couldn't even pick a favorite meat. I loved them all.
It's the kind of meal where you slowly realize you're full… & yet you're still reaching for another bite because it's just that good 😭 I might have had to unbutton my pants at the table… don't judge.
What stood out to me most though was the feeling of the evening. Turkish tea on the table, warm food, & no pressure to rush. Tina, our waitress, was so kind & attentive… it made everything feel easy & taken care of.
We ended with homemade künefe… warm, sweet, slightly indulgent, & the perfect way to close the night.
The second time we went back for brunch… & that's when I really started noticing the intention behind everything.
We had the Turkish breakfast, which comes as a full spread meant to share. Eggs, cheeses, sausages, breads, spreads… but what made it special were the small details.
The olives are imported from Turkey, & they even grill the green ones… which I didn't expect but loved so much I finished them all & didn't leave any for Farzy… oops 😅 . The butter is made fresh, the bread is baked fresh, & the jams are homemade… we had two & both were so good. The fresh squeezed orange juice was also a highlight because who doesn't love fresh juice.
Even the honey is locally sourced from Quebec… they drive hours to pick it up.
You can really taste the care in everything. Nothing feels rushed or generic… it feels thoughtful.
If I had to describe Saray, I'd say it's not trying to be trendy… it's rooted in culture, in food, & in slowing down.
It honestly made me even more excited to visit Turkey one day… but for now, this felt like a really comforting introduction.

J'ai adoré mon expérience ! Le service était impeccable & le rapport qualité-prix est vraiment incroyable. Je recommande à 100 %. Incroyable ratio quantité-prix. C'était la première on essayait leur brunch & je n'ai pas été déçue!!

This is my new favourite brunch. Obsessed with the delicious platters & scores of sides. The staff are super friendly & I wish this was closer to my house but it's always well worth the drive.
C'était un de mes restaurants préférés, j'aimais bien la cuisine & l'ambiance générale, mais ma dernière visite m'a laisser un peu déçus , déjà je trouver le brunch un peu exorbitant pour la quantité offerte, si le déjeuner c'est pour 2 personnes alors pourquoi c'est une assiette pour 2 personnes ? & aussi j'ai trouver un cheveux dans l'omelette avec Soujouk mai j'ai préféré juste pas terminer mon assiette . Ensuite y'avait la serveuse qui est venue débarrasser la table alors qu'on mangeais encore & on avait pas dépasser les 2 heures par table . Mais bon l'erreur est humaine , j'espère que vous prendrez ça en considération & que vous vous améliorerez.
C'est la 3e fois que j'y vais sur recommandation d'une turque & j'adore. La bouffe est excellente, particulièrement l'agneau. Le brunch est fantastique. C'est bruyant avec le haut plafond & la musique. Il vaut mieux le savoir. Service est vraiment très très bon. Un grand merci pour tout !
I had one of the best brunch experiences in Montreal! This place is amazing, & the service was excellent, nothing to complain about. This Turkish restaurant is truly a gem in Montreal!
I felt like I was in Turkey, even though the food was better quality. There was a beautiful nostalgic feeling, & the brunch was absolutely amazing. We love it so much that we recommend it to so many of our friends & family. In fact, we're going back next week!
J'ai adoré bruncher au Saray. Le restaurant est chic & le personnel est très accueillant. Leur brunch turc est excellent. Tout était très bon. Je le recommande fortement.
I've been to Saray 3x now & I can confirm it deserves all the hype ! The food is amazing & the staff is very friendly too. Easily became one of my top Turkish spots in Montreal ! I don't have many pics because every time the food comes I devour it so quick. I also recommend their brunch!! 😋😋
