I've been to Saray Restaurant twice now… once for dinner & once for brunch… & both times felt like stepping into a slower, more intentional way of eating.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is very calm… soft Turkish music playing in the background, a spacious room, & these beautiful, intricate details everywhere. Even the plateware & tea sets caught my attention. I'm not even kidding… it made me want to buy all my homeware in Turkey.
It also feels like a close-knit place. The employees move like a family… comfortable, warm, & genuinely welcoming.
Both times I went with my friend Farzy, who invited me to help her film some content. I'm a hand model & a huge foodie, so we always end up mixing a little work & a lot of eating.
The first time, we ordered the Sultan dinner to share… & it's a full table experience. Adana, chicken wings, beef cubes, chicken skewers… served with rice, bulgur, golden potatoes, salad, & their house sauce.
The potato wedges were perfectly cooked & seasoned… crispy on the outside, soft inside. The side salads were fresh & flavorful, which balanced everything really well. & honestly… I couldn't even pick a favorite meat. I loved them all.
It's the kind of meal where you slowly realize you're full… & yet you're still reaching for another bite because it's just that good 😭 I might have had to unbutton my pants at the table… don't judge.
What stood out to me most though was the feeling of the evening. Turkish tea on the table, warm food, & no pressure to rush. Tina, our waitress, was so kind & attentive… it made everything feel easy & taken care of.
We ended with homemade künefe… warm, sweet, slightly indulgent, & the perfect way to close the night.
The second time we went back for brunch… & that's when I really started noticing the intention behind everything.
We had the Turkish breakfast, which comes as a full spread meant to share. Eggs, cheeses, sausages, breads, spreads… but what made it special were the small details.
The olives are imported from Turkey, & they even grill the green ones… which I didn't expect but loved so much I finished them all & didn't leave any for Farzy… oops 😅 . The butter is made fresh, the bread is baked fresh, & the jams are homemade… we had two & both were so good. The fresh squeezed orange juice was also a highlight because who doesn't love fresh juice.
Even the honey is locally sourced from Quebec… they drive hours to pick it up.
You can really taste the care in everything. Nothing feels rushed or generic… it feels thoughtful.
If I had to describe Saray, I'd say it's not trying to be trendy… it's rooted in culture, in food, & in slowing down.
It honestly made me even more excited to visit Turkey one day… but for now, this felt like a really comforting introduction.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first walked into the restaurant. Huge restaurant, beautiful decor & it was packed on a Friday night, which is wonderful to see.
The food was delicious, everything we ordered tasted phenomenal. The steak was tender, the lamb was buttery & melt in your mouth & the chicken kebabs were juicy!
Our waitress was also very sweet & attentive. She took the time to explain the dishes & gave great recommendations.
I would highly recommend making a reservation, we waited about 45 mins for a table.
We was served by Elias, the food & the servis & ambiance is just perfect. Wishing you all the best . You can be proud of your restaurant. Just beautiful
'I had a wonderful experience at this Turkish restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors & perfectly cooked. Every dish we tried was fresh & beautifully presented.
The service was just as impressive - the staff were friendly, attentive, & made us feel very welcome. Our orders arrived quickly & everything was handled with great care & professionalism.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves high-quality Turkish food & excellent service. I will definitely be coming back!'
The Gourmet Experience: Best Middle Eastern food I've had in a long time. The flavors are authentic, the presentation is beautiful, & the staff is very hospitable. The Shish Tawook was juicy & the Mandi was flavorful without being too oily. If you're looking for a high-end Halal dining experience in Montreal/Laval, this is it. Highly recommend!
All service staff are very sincere & friendly. The food is delicious. The venue is high-quality, beautiful & clean. Recommended.
First time here & we had a good dining experience.
We did not make a reservation & decided to walk in, at noon on Sunday. The tables were about 90% full & we were lucky, we got assigned to a table in less than 10 minutes.
The restaurant is huge, clean & bright. Two groups of people were celebrating their birthdays while we were there. We spent around 1.5 hours there, including waiting time for the food to arrive.
We ordered'SULTAN designed for 2', though it could be a big set for just two of us. The food was fantastic & I would say I like the good size. The bread that came with the set was very delicious. Meat was cooked very well, tasted very juicy. Enjoyed the huge portion of salad. The golden house potatoes were great too. Everything in the set blended well & I would say, this set was a good option for us.
At the end of our meal, we ordered a dessert'kunefe'. Our first time trying out this & to our surprise, it tasted wonderful. At first, we thought it would be too sweet to our liking, but it wasn't. This dessert definitely made our meal more complete.
For drinks, we went for Turkish tea & coffee. The tea especially, it came with free refill & by having it together with our meal, that was very soothing, & made the whole meal not too heavy for us.
This restaurant has a very good ambience & is beautifully set up. The staff are extremely friendly. Definitely a great place to enjoy a meal / have a gathering / celebrate an event.
One small thing to comment, it would be better if a specific waiter / waitress could be assigned to take care of a specific zone. There were quite a few times during our visit where we needed some assistances, we needed to wait for the staff to come to us. This isn't a big concern, but could be something that makes the whole dining experience even better.
It doesn't look like much from the outside but the decor is beautiful.
Food is amazing, portions are generous & our server Tina was delightful.
Would definitely come back again.
This was our second visit to Saray Restaurant, because our first experience was so wonderful that we had to come back. We came all the way from Ottawa & the staff kindly moved our reservation earlier for us, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service is warm & welcoming, & the food is high quality & absolutely delicious. One of the best breakfast spots in Montreal - highly recommend! For sure, on our next visit to Montreal we will definitely come again to enjoy more of their amazing food.
The highlight of the night, beyond the exceptional food, was the outstanding service we received from three absolute angels: Asal, Kimia, & Samira. From start to finish, they made us feel like royalty. Each of them went above & beyond to ensure we felt welcome & happy.
Asal was an absolute sweetheart. She made perfect recommendations that perfectly matched our tastes. Kimia radiated positivity & charm, always checking in at just the right time to ensure everything was perfect. & Samira ensured that we always had everything we needed. Together, they turned a simple family dinner into a great experience.
As for the food, just wow! Dishes were flavourful, beautifully presented, & cooked to perfection. The bread was hot & fresh, & the kebabs were tender, juicy, & of high quality. Overall, great experience. I recommend Saray.
We went for dinner & had a wonderful experience. The restaurant was beautiful, clean, & had a welcoming atmosphere. The food arrived quickly, was delicious, well-presented, & perfectly portioned. The service was friendly & attentive. Overall, a flawless evening with no complaints.

I felt like I was in Turkey, even though the food was better quality. There was a beautiful nostalgic feeling, & the brunch was absolutely amazing. We love it so much that we recommend it to so many of our friends & family. In fact, we're going back next week!
Very beautiful place , food is good , service is awesome & nice atmosphere! Highly recommend
Service was amazing, food was great. Alittle spicy but great. Huge beautiful place got loud but totally worth it.
WOW! The food, the service, & the ambiance at Saray were all INCREDIBLE!! The decor is beautiful, & the staff were all so helpful & friendly. We ordered the Sultan's platter & everything on it was amazing. The presentation made us truly feel like royalty, & we couldn't get enough of the bulgur specifically. The kunefeh dessert was so authentic & delicious as well! I would recommend this place to anyone.
