Sapori Il Giretto absolutely earned every single star last night. From the second we walked through the door, we were treated like friends.
The standout of the night was sharing our love of Italy's San Remo festival on their giant TV while enjoying a delicious meal of sandwiches- freshly sliced prociutto & mortadella, gnocchi with homemade rosée sauce & sinful patatine. Fresh & prepared with care & heart.
Ending the meal with a Caffè con crema & WOW Crema di Caffè. It wasn't just'good'-it was a revelation.
Lastly, the ambiance-classy yet comfy & welcoming.
What really set the experience apart was meeting, chatting & bonding over the love of Italian music with Mirella & Sabrina. Such friendly & wonderful people.
If you're looking for a place that delivers on food, service, & atmosphere, this is it.
Thank you, Mirella & Sabrina, for a fun evening & for your generosity. We came for a quick bite & enjoyed an unexpected & truly wonderful evening. Thank you!!!
We're already planning our next visit! :))
Amazing coffee & delicious food. I had their sandwich & the pasta with burrata filling, & both were incredible. Everything tasted so fresh & authentically Italian. Highly recommend!
If you're looking for amazing Italian sandwiches & desserts, this place is a must. Outstanding service & the espresso is 👌☕?
Amazing arancini & fantastic service!!! Authentic Italian food like you're in Italy!
Got the L'Antipasto sandwich, & for 18$ the grilled vegetables seemed lackluster at best. It was yummy vegetables tossed in some olive oil, placed between bread. There was no sauce, no chilli oil, no cheese, no sliced meat. If meant to be a vegan option, at least add some chilli oil. The bread was dry, & any form of sauce would have elevated the flavor.
For grilled veggies on bread, it was delicious. For an 18$ sandwich, it was disappointing & underwhelming, not to mention incredibly overpriced.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is'whitewashed Italian,' quoted from my Italian boyfriend. It could have been great, but settled for okay.
Completely over rated!
I was really expecting to eat like a' real Italian canadian' the sandwich was ok, but not wow! 20$ & not worth the quality that was serviced. It was a shocker.
Services was great, the person who served me was sweet, offered the creamé di cafe on the house ( 10/10)
We asked for a cottolette sandwich & we were told that it was a generic sandwich, but than again all the sandwich that we toke (3) was generic & not upscale.
First & last time.
Very nice, family business owned Italian restaurant. Sandwiches & pastas are sooooo delicious. I recommend
i found this place while desperately searching online for a good, local, authentic italian cafe & let me tell you this is a hidden gem! the food is not only delicious, but super fresh, affordable, & the portions are amazing. the staff is super nice & friendly as well, you'll definitely be seeing more of me!
Authentic Italian food, excellent quality & above all very kind. Highly recommended!
Piatti italiani autentici con grande ricerca della materia prima. Junior numero uno!!!
Miglior ristorante autentico italiano a Montreal. Materie prime di altissima qualità direttamente dall'Italia e staff eccezionale!!!
I love the idea of an Italian café in Laval! Where I think this establishment is lacking is the location, & the options offered at different times. We went on a Wednesday night at 7 PM. There was nothing left in the display (which would've been nice to see, especially with a new restaurant), & the vibe was dead. We had a cafe crema which was fantastic. We also had a cornetto which casted very artificial/frozen. Nonetheless, I would still recommend this cute spot. & I do plan on coming back to try more of their menu. The staff was courteous & friendly.
