Born in may 2007, Santos is the quintessential old Montreal tapas bar experience. Open from tuesday to saturday, it specializes in traditional Spanish food and offers a large an original selection of spirits, cocktails, wines, sangrias and mojitos. Live DJs every night and many special events. Santos is ideal for your 5 to 7s, late night dinners, corporate bookings and live musical events.
ORIGINS OF SANTOS
All the streets in Old Montreal are named after saints. Located on the corner of Saint Paul and Saint François Xavier and given that the food served is Spanish, it was only natural to name place "Saints" in Spanish.

We've been on a Saturday night (girls night out) - only for the club. The music the ppl the ambiance is super nice ! I do suggest to come either early like 10-10:30 pm or.. 1 am.. otherwise a lot of ppl .. the restaurant / lounge is not that big, so the capacity can be reach out pretty quickly I do recommend to go there to dance ☺️ - very nice bouncersView more

Nous y sommes allés pour un ladies night un mardi soir (le 14 mai 2024) nous voulions profiter du menu 40$ alcool à volonté lorsqu'on se présente on remarque que malgré le menu en ligne avec option végé ils les ont retiré du menu donc pas d'options vege/ vegan (pourquoi?) OK pas de problème on va faire avec mais après avoir commander nous devons attendre jusqu'à 25 minutes pour recevoir un verre de vin maison (est-elle partie la chercher à sa maison?!) Nous nous disons c'est un ladies night ça doit être normal mais non en fait le restaurant est presque vide malgré la musique mais sans crainte les serveuses aiment papoter le vin n'est pas si loin finalement pour vrai opportunité manqué & la seule bonne nouvelle est qu'ils sont un abonnement costco pour les tartares de thon donc au moins ils auront retour sur achat sauver votre aller vous même acheter votre thon & litre de vin au CostcoView more

The food was great, & that's the main thing. The atmosphere is super loud, & it's hard for the server to do much in that environment, so while it isn't my thing, it's not fair to remove any stars. So, five stars, would not go back :)View more
