The starters & main course were served together, so my main dish was cold by the time I got to it. Also, the dumplings could use more filling for a better overall experience.
I ordered over than 350 dumplings from Sammi & Soupe Dumplings - (Pointe-Claire) for an event at work & everything was amazing. They were flexible, quick & responsive. The dumplings were delicious & many colleagues asked me where they were from. I happily shared the restaurant's name & location. They delivered the order on time & it went smoothly. I want to thank the whole team who worked on this huge order & made the event a success. Hopefully, we can do it again next year!
We waited so much today. The lady kept passing by & didn't serve us. The food was mediocre, the service was not quite there, & the ambiance was a miss. I like the downtown one better.
A very nice cozy place with a great staff that's always on their feet 😇😇 We started with shrimp wonton soup & absolutely loved it ❤?❤? We then moved onto lamb & coriander dumplings along with pork, shrimp, & scallop dumplings & each bite was incredible ❤?❤? Our full compliments to the chef for the gourmet's delight 🙏🙏 Highly recommend this 11/10 dumpling place to anyone residing in the West Island as it's just a perfect venue to relax with family, friends with the best service 😍😍

Lamb soup dumplings
These were the standout. The wrappers are delicate but sturdy, holding a rich, deeply savory broth that doesn't skimp on flavor. The lamb filling is juicy & well-seasoned, with none of that gamey edge that can sometimes overpower. Each bite feels comforting & indulgent, especially when dipped lightly in black vinegar with a touch of ginger.
Pork & Shrimp soup dumplings
A classic done right. The pork is tender & flavorful, while the shrimp adds a subtle sweetness & bounce that keeps things interesting. The soup inside is clean, aromatic, & perfectly balanced not greasy, not bland. These are the kind of xiao long bao you keep reaching for without even realizing you've finished the basket.
Chicken fried dumplings
Crispy on the bottom, soft & chewy on top exactly how fried dumplings should be. The chicken filling is juicy & mildly seasoned, letting the texture & freshness shine. They're comforting, unfussy, & incredibly satisfying, especially paired with their dipping sauce.
Overall, Sammi Soup Dumpling delivers consistently well-executed dumplings with great texture, flavor, & care. Whether you're a soup dumpling purist or just craving something warm & satisfying, this place is absolutely worth a visit if you're in the West Island.

We ordered the classic xiaolongbao, but the quality was lacking. The filling had a distinct sourness suggesting the meat wasn't fresh, despite an obvious attempt to hide it with heavy spices. The wrappers were equally underwhelming. I would definitely NOT recommend if you want to try some authentic xiaolongbao.
J'ai pris la soupe wonton qui était bonne & les dumplings au porc sucré qui étaient délicieux, surtout avec la petite sauce piquante 👌L'ambiance est tranquille, parfait pour discuter & le restaurant était propre. J'y retournerais!
Slow service. Restaurant itself just feels dirty. The edge of the tables have not been cleaned since the opening of the restaurant & once you see it, you can imagine the rest of the eating experience... Just not clean.
Les dumplings sont excellents & devient notre'go to' lorsque nous ne voulons pas cuisiner. Par contre, message aux propriétaires: svp trouver un moyen que on puisse commender en ligne sans passer by Uber Eats. Ils ajoutent 30% a vos prix sans transparence! C'est handicapant de ne pas pouvoir commander directement. merci pour votre considération!

What a disappointment!! We've been there before many times & loved it. However, today was a real let down. Food took 45 mins to arrive. We were starving! The pan-fried dumplings were all broken up in singular units instead of having that nice crust gluing all the dumplings together! When I asked the waitress how come the dumplings came like that, she said it was normal (all tables & take out orders had that nice crust).The size of the soup dumplings as well as the pan-fried dumplings seem to have been smaller than usual! The bathroom was quite dirty as well. It's a shame because we used to love going there but probably won't because of that!
My wife & I had a craving for dumplings so we decided to try this spot. We didn't find anything particularly special about this place & found the dishes to be overpriced for the quality & quantity of food.
