Dans Sammi & Soupe Dumpling, les dumplings à la vapeur et les xiao long bao sont frais et savoureux, avec un large choix de farces allant du porc ciboule au boeuf curry, à l'agneau coriandre et des options véganes, ainsi que des spécialités selon l'emplacement. Les dumplings arrivent bien chauds et juteux, la pâte est légère et les saveurs bien équilibrées, tandis que le service est rapide et efficace et les portions généreuses pour des prix raisonnables. L'ambiance est cosy et animée, un choix sûr pour l'authenticité et la constance, même si l'affluence peut être importante et les places peuvent être serrées aux heures de pointe.
Great dumpling. Been to many places & these ones are decent size & juicy. Never fails. Always constent. Price are decent. Service is good & fast enough . Not a fancy high end place but that never bothered me. Looks nice for what it is & clean. Overall I must try for dumpling lovers.
Whether you're here for lunch or dinner, Sammi's will not disappoint. My friends & I were visiting Montreal for four days & came back here twice. Prices are incredible as well.
Here I thought nothing would beat Vancouver's XLBs…
We were passing this restaurant one evening. It looked busy & decided to have a go.
The staff were helpful when asked & helped us understand the menu.
The soup arrived very quickly & it tasted nice. It was piping hot, just what you expect.
There was a wait for the the dumplings 30 mins to 45 mins. We didn't mind to much as it was packed.
The dumplings arrived & were delicious. They come in a portion of 15 , that was quite filling for 2 people. & highly recommended.
I would be aware of the Teriyaki ones as they didn't taste of teriyaki at all & were just ground mince beef. They were tasty however came in a portion of 5 for the same price as the 15.
I had a the chicken & mushroom dumplings. They were just okay but very reasonably priced if you want some decent cheap eats! Can't have high expectations for a budget Chinese food.
I had heard so many great things about this restaurant, & it definitely lived up to the hype! The dumplings were juicy, flavorful, & absolutely delicious. The portions are generous for the price & leave you feeling full & satisfied. I did try the sweet & sour soup, which wasn't quite to my taste, the texture was a bit too thick, & the flavor didn't really work for me. That said, overall everything was really good, & the service was quick & efficient. I'd happily go back!

We tried several of their dumplings, & my personal favorite was the chicken-coriander ones-packed with flavor & a perfect balance of ingredients. The menu offers a great variety, & we also sampled their soju, which was well-priced. This speakeasy-style restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, though it gets busy on weekends, so be prepared for a crowd. Despite the great selection & affordable prices, their soy sauce & chili oil didn't quite meet expectations in terms of quality. Still, a solid spot for a casual night out with friends.
The line was not too long. We ordered the pork soup dumplings & the fried pork ones. They were both very delicious! They each have their unique attributes to it that make them special from other dumplings. Dumplings are also made in front of your eyes. The price was also not too bad. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
The food was sooooo good!! Maybe a little bland but it was still good & well worth the price, best soup dumplings I've had! But the service wasn't the best & a bit rude, & I felt like the tables were wayyyy too close together but that's just me being picky lol

This place is really, really good. Cheap prices, good service, & ultimately excellent dumplings. Went here with my boyfriend, & we got two servings of dumplings. The first was the spicy pork steamed dumplings, which were an absolute delight, extremely tasty. We also got the fried dumplings (I believe pork & cabbage). Which were also really good.
This is a great restaurant to take your kids & try different dishes. Service was friendly & attentive, food was fresh & well-prepared, patio seating provided open-air & piazza-style atmosphere. There is ample street parking & can take a stroll after dinner to enjoy the street's atmosphere. The food is reasonably priced. On the previous visit, we were fortunate enough to enjoy street performances while dining. This time, we people watched.
