Never fails. Juiciest, tastiest with the perfect dough soup dumplings. Best in the city, hands down. A little tip: the Royalmount location offers exclusive flavours: sea urchin dumplings, truffle dumplings… a must try!
Classic place to get soup dumpling. This place is small & very crowded so take-out when it's lunch time is difficult but still worth the wait. The service is good too!

Très bel endroit, vraiment agréable & cosy. La nourriture est excellente. On a pris des dumplings classiques au poulet & aux champignons, d'autres frits au boeuf & au curry, puis une soupe aux crevettes - tout était vraiment délicieux & bien assaisonné. C'était aussi assez copieux, on est repartis rassasiés.
Le service est très bon, attentionné sans être envahissant. On reviendra avec plaisir.

Sammi & Soupe est une valeur sûre, j'adore venir à cette adresse, la qualité des dumplings est constante toujours aussi bon, service rapide & très abordable. Mes préférés sont le porc coriandre & agneau coriandre !
I love this place so much, the food is sooo delicious i love the pork & chives soup dumplings & the sweet juicy pork one. The appetizers are also so good & very good options!
So incredibly good & one of the few soup dumpling spots which has vegetarian/pescatarian soup dumpling options. My boyfriend & I went to their other location & loved it so much that we made sure that we booked a place to stay within walking distance so that we could have their dumplings as often as possible.
The service is fast & the Crevette & Coriandre soup dumplings are a perfect mix of salty & slightly sweet & when mixed with their chili oil, vinegar, & soy sauce the tanginess takes these dumplings to another level.

Everytime I visit Montreal, I always end up going here at least once. (& I go to Montreal frequently) I am in love with the soup dumplings & how piping hot they arrive. You also must get their fried dumplings too. The crispy sheet layer on top is just the best.
It's a relatively busy place & I've always had to wait to be seated. But the wait isn't too bad if you go at less peak hours. They somehow move very efficiently & expertly. The team works like a well oiled machine. The business of this restaurant is telling of how good their food is.
Fantastic soup dumplings with lots of filling options. I also appreciated that you got a large number of dumplings, so it felt like a meal. The soup i added to my meal was perfect for a chilly day in the city.
We were passing this restaurant one evening. It looked busy & decided to have a go.
The staff were helpful when asked & helped us understand the menu.
The soup arrived very quickly & it tasted nice. It was piping hot, just what you expect.
There was a wait for the the dumplings 30 mins to 45 mins. We didn't mind to much as it was packed.
The dumplings arrived & were delicious. They come in a portion of 15 , that was quite filling for 2 people. & highly recommended.
I would be aware of the Teriyaki ones as they didn't taste of teriyaki at all & were just ground mince beef. They were tasty however came in a portion of 5 for the same price as the 15.
Food was good. Had the sweet & sour soup & pork & chive dumplings. The service was bad, rescued only after the female owner or manager or whoever she was that night passed service to a student server who did her best. Not sure what the woman's problem was but she has an attitude that doesn't belong anywhere near good customer service. In complete contrast to the excellent friendly service at Pangji Guilin Nouilles on Saint Catherines.

Quelle belle découverte dans le Chinatown! On cherchait un endroit où manger des bons ramens mais on a bien fait de s'arrêter chez Sammi & Soupe Dumpling finalement! 🥟🍜
Les xiaolongbao sont incroyables! On a aussi eu la chance de goûter leurs nouilles froides au beurre d'arachides, la soupe wonton & les dumplings frits & tout était excellent. On a trouvé les prix vraiment raisonnables en plus!
Coup de coeur pour l'huile de chili croustillante qui est servie on the side. Sur les dumplings & les nouilles, c'était trop bon. 🌶?
On a eu un petit 20-25 minutes d'attente parce qu'on est venus durant le weekend & qu'il y avait pas mal de monde mais malgré ça, le service était ultra rapide & les employés, souriants & courtois!
J'ai eu la chance de manger chez Sammi & Soupe Dumpling il y a trois ans, & je m'en souviens encore comme si c'était hier. Les xiaolongbao étaient tout simplement exceptionnels, parfaitement cuits à la vapeur, juteux à souhait, & débordants de saveurs. On sent tout le soin & le savoir-faire dans chaque bouchée.
L'ambiance était chaleureuse, le service rapide, & la présentation simple mais soignée. Le petit bol de sauce soja avec vinaigre & gingembre frais était le complément parfait. Un vrai voyage gustatif en plein coeur du quartier chinois de Montréal.
Un arrêt incontournable pour tous les amateurs de dumplings authentiques. Je recommande sans hésiter !
