While I don't quite get the hype of this place with its long lines & endless stream of people dining in & taking out, their offerings are pretty good.

Tried a bunch of appetizers like the peanut butter cold noodles, seaweed salad, spicy tofu, & cucumber. All of them were bright & fresh, though I would have liked a bit more kick.

Of course, got a number of the soup dumplings, both steamed (shrimp tom yum, pork shrimp & scallops, pork & coriander) & fried (beef & curry). The casing was on the thicker & chewier side which I liked. There was a good amount of protein. Soup was a bit bland (even the premium tom yum one). Of the bunch, found the pork shrimp & scallops one the tastiest.

Service & kitchen are pretty quick especially for the volume they get. Prices are fair. Vibe is casual. This place gets really busy so prepare to wait.

Nous nous arrêtés parce que nous avons déjà été à celui de Brossard (qui est excellent ). Mais celui-ci sur Ste-Catherine… Quelle déception. Le tofu nous a deçue au point qu''on n'a pas été capable de le finir. Les dumplings (vapeur & pan-fried) sont ok, sans plus. Nous croyons que la franchise aurait les même goûts & la même qualité partout… pas du tout. Le service était très de base, pas de sourire, pas de « refill » pour l'eau & on sentait comme si on dérangeait. Je ne retourne pas à celui-ci. Désolé

Amazing. & more than 1 kind of veggie dumplings! I had 3 orders & gorged myself like a piggy. I surprisingly enjoyed the steamed ones more than the pan fried; even though the PF had the crunchy lacy skirt on each one, the steamed ones had a satisfying bounce on the dough when chewed. The server was very nice & unusually enthusiastic which brought a brightness to our casual dinner. Keep it up girl! The table was sticky but it was wooden on a hot an humid evening which was probably the cause... i still didnt like touching it though.

Must visit place for tourists. Super affordable & delicious food. Loved the classic soup dumplings & fried dumplings. We went on a Monday evening & we got a table immediately. Their service is fast & efficient. 10/10.

Everytime I visit Montreal, I always end up going here at least once. (& I go to Montreal frequently) I am in love with the soup dumplings & how piping hot they arrive. You also must get their fried dumplings too. The crispy sheet layer on top is just the best.

It's a relatively busy place & I've always had to wait to be seated. But the wait isn't too bad if you go at less peak hours. They somehow move very efficiently & expertly. The team works like a well oiled machine. The business of this restaurant is telling of how good their food is.

Prices have gone up sadly, by 2$ a plate... Still delectable, can't go wrong with sweet juicy pork! Their fried options aren't that good.

Always worth the wait. Great selection of xiao long bao & pan fried dumplings. Don't forget the red bean buns for dessert. One of my favorite stops in Montreal.

Soup dumplings were excellent! We tried shrimp, pork, sweet pork, & lamb. All excellent. The pan fried dumplings were great too.

The line was not too long. We ordered the pork soup dumplings & the fried pork ones. They were both very delicious! They each have their unique attributes to it that make them special from other dumplings. Dumplings are also made in front of your eyes. The price was also not too bad. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
