I've been here many times in the past & the dumplings at Sammi are to die for ! Although it can get very busy & have long lines during the evenings, it's totally worth it. The service is very quick also.

Really great experience- not only is the staff very accommodating & kind, the dumplings are spot on delicious. Come here for of course the xiao long bao, pork dumplings with a delightful crisp, & veggie dumplings that pack a flavor punch!! Merry Christmas all!
Amazing xiao long bao. The soup/broth is not too salty, & the dumpling itself has good texture & flavour. They allow you to mix two types for a $1 which is great, a must try in Montreal!
Very good dumplings, we had the steamed & the fried one & it was delicious. Authentic & flavourful, I definitely recommend if you're in Chinatown to go there for dumplings. Fast service, great ambiance.

Toujours un plaisir d'y manger! Ce restaurant est devenu notre cantine. prévoir un petit temps d'attente avant d'être placé, mais l'attente vaut vraiment la peine! & toujours agréable d'être servi par Zhanzi! Une vrai rayon de soleil.
to preface I did not eat in but rather got the take out. I ordered 10 of their most popular dumpling (pork if I recall) & it came pretty fast. The soup dumplings were hella fresh, hella juicy & packed with flavour. The location is super convinent as its located arond everything in the heart of downtown, & the dumplings took only 10 minutes to make! Super great spot
Malgré la longue file d'attente, nous avons eu un super service, rapide & courtois. Les dumplings végés sont délicieux & nous avons aussi adoré la salade de chou, les nouilles froides & les concombres en entrées!
Easily one of the best restaurants in town when it comes to soup dumplings. We enjoyed both the steamed & pan fried soup dumplings. Both have perfect texture & a great balance of soup & filling. The prices are more than reasonable. A great ambiance overall, definitely has the Chinatown vibe but with a modern touch. The staff is friendly & the service is prompt & efficient. The combination of steamed dumplings that stood out the most for me would be the Pork & Coriander as well as the Sweet Pork, however there has not been a single flavor that I've disliked at this particular restaurant.
This place gets busy so be prepared to wait in line. Soup dumpling was my favourite, more than the pan fried dumplings. Cold peanut noodles were refreshing.
