Sammi & Soupe Dumplings was the perfect choice for a rainy day. The food was great & served quickly, offering just the comfort we needed. While the soup dumplings were on the thicker side, the pork & coriander filling was incredibly tasty. A solid spot for a satisfying meal.
What a great find ! I came exactly at noon, had a table right away, my food was served quickly, the staff were so sweet, & my dumplings ! I got lamb & coriander. Omg, they were delicious. I will definitely be back !!
This is one of the best dumpling places in Montréal overall, not just Chinatown. The soup dumplings are juicy & flavourful, & you can't go wrong with the pan fried dumplings either. We eat here at least once every time we're in Montréal. 😊 ❤️ No photos, because it was so good, we ate quickly (& there's always a crowd, so we didn't want to hold them up). 🙂
went there as a group of 8 during a weekday lunch, it wasn't crowded at all & we were immediately assigned a seat. the dumplings are delicious & very juicy. the food was served very quickly & we ordered quite a lot (~2 batches per person) it was a very pleasant visit & would definitely return if the opportunity comes up!
Had a short wait for table, but once seated & ordered was very quick. The spicy juicy pork soup dumplings are the cats pajamas & all the others I tried definitely returning every trip in Montreal.

Amazing pan fried & steamed dumplings. Soup dumplings just like in China. If you can get a table enjoy the quick & attentive service - just be ready to be cozy with those sitting around you owing packed number of tables in small space. But well worth it!
This restaurant is located in Chinatown, easy to find & bustling with activity. We waited for about 10 minutes before getting a table, but the food was served quickly. We ordered two appetizers (cucumbers & seaweed salad), two baskets of soup dumplings, one order of pan-fried dumplings, & two bowls of soup. The soup was average, especially the hot & sour soup didn't impress, but I really enjoyed their soup dumplings & appetizers. There were many options for soup dumplings, & we ordered pork soup dumplings & chicken mushroom. We all agreed that the chicken mushroom was the most delicious, but the pork was great too. However, the pan-fried dumplings were too greasy, with a layer of oil at the bottom of the plate, but the lamb filling was very tasty. Overall, the food was decent, & the service was quick with the servers delivering the food promptly.
We love this place we come more often with my friends they have many options Soupe dump & fry one both of them we love it nice waitress & quick service !
Best dumplings in Chinatown hands down. The service is sweet & nice. The dumplings are delicious & expertly made. Quick service & they take card payments. Get there early or at an off time, they fill up fast.
Stopped by for a quick bite in the afternoon. Classic pork dumplings were great, but I'll try something other than the fried beef/curry dumplings next time :)
I've been here many times in the past & the dumplings at Sammi are to die for ! Although it can get very busy & have long lines during the evenings, it's totally worth it. The service is very quick also.

my favorite restaurant in all of mtl. i absolutely adore this place as it is affordable & delicious. nothing is like these xiaolongbaos as they are soo juicy & flavorful, the skin is the perfect width, & the options are numerous. there’s normally a wait during dinner or lunch times, but lines go quickly!!
