The chicken chilli chowrangi is a must have. Their butter chicken & prawns masala balti was exceptional as well. Don't miss their butter garlic naan! Five stars overall, but the only reason I have taken one star off is their their portion sizes are ridiculously tiny for the price. Really wish they had atleast 30-40% bigger portions.

A most pleasant dinner at Sahib Dorval. Greeted warmly by the owner who escorted us to our "quiet corner" that we had requested upon booking. Grace, our server, very professional & knowledgeable about all items on the menu & beverage selections. Timely delivery of our appetizers & then...the FEAST. Butter Chicken was perfect. Madras Lamb just right for our spice preference. Sides of Paneer Spinach, Lentils, Mixed vegetables, Naan & rice = a divine ride for our palates. Grace was attentive, anything we needed more of...bravo..a true professional service ! The owner passed by our table also asking if all was to our liking, light conversation with him as we have experienced their other location & we praised the ambience & comfort of this Dorval locale. Shell we be back? ABSOLUTELY. Excellent experience & memories made !
An outstanding dinner at Sahib Dorval. Warm greeting by the owner, escorted to our "quite corner" table for the four of us. Grace , our most professional server, took our drink order & in no time our beverages were delivered. Grace answered a few questions we had...& then were off for a feast for the eyes & our palates. Perfect spice profile ( which we were asked about...our taste & "tolerance" ) for each item. Butter Chicken & Madras Lamb were divine. Sides selected of the Paneer Spinach, Lentils & Mixed Vegetables rounded out our service. Naan ..perfect...rice ditto. Grace was attentive through our dining, assuring all was to our liking = a resounding YES from all four of us. The owner dropped by our table...we thanked him for a true culinary adventure & experience. Not our first time at Sahib Dorval, but is was for our friends...all agreed ..we SHALL be back! Bravo team Sahi
We were greeted well on arrival. We were four people. Curled papads already on the table with a dipping sauce was a nice touch. We ordered all vegetarian dishes. Two entrées which were all very good. Three curries, the first three on the menu, plus some nice naan bread which seemed freshly baked. Unfortunately rice does not come with any of the curries when ordering vegetarian dishes. The rice we did order was quite a small dish, especially for four people. Seemed a bit cheap given the price of the curries. This was the only down side to the meal. We had no desserts, chai or coffee. All n all very good. Service was also very good. We will go back. Enjoy.

Whenever we get a craving for Indian food, we go to Sahib on Hymus in Pointe Claire. Their buffet has a lot of choices & we have been enjoying their delicious food for years. Yesterday we decided to go to the new Sahib in Dorval. There is no buffet except for groups & on special holidays so we each ordered a trio. Mine was butter chicken in plenty of perfectly seasoned sauce with a side cup of flavourful chick peas & rice...so tasty! I also ordered the tastiest & crispiest onion bhaji ever with raita! My friend ordered mulligatawny soup which she raved about. The naan was fluffy & perfectly made. The meal was over the top delicious! Compliments to the chef!
Cozy decor, friendly service, & the food was great. I like that you can see the chefs preparing the fresh naan by hand.
Amazing restaurant! The ambience is cozy, the service is friendly & quick & the food is exceptional. The owner even came to our table to ask how we were doing, if we liked the food & to light a small candle on the table.
The dhaba chicken curry, chicken 65, onion bhajia & lamb were all tender & flavorful. The naan was also great.
The drinks menu is quite long. The cocktails are delicious & not watered down, which is a rare find in restaurants in my opinion!
A must try if you are in the area

I live an hour away from Sahib but it is worth the drive & more. I was first introduced to this restaurant a month ago by a friend, & immediately within a week I came back again with my family - I just couldn't stop thinking about the food. We had the aloo tikki & samosas to start, which were delicious & plenty filling on their own, but topped by a generous portion of equally tasty chickpeas, sauce & yogurt. At this point, I'd also ordered a mango lassi to wash it down, which was perfect - sweet & refreshing, but not overly sweet. I then had the thali which was well worth the price, & came with a bit of everything - tandoori chicken that was nice & juicy, lamb curry that was tender & rich, chickpea curry (one of my personal favourites), plenty of rice & naan (paired perfectly with both curries), & dessert to boot! Every one of the staff was incredibly friendly & welcoming as well, from the owner to the waiters to even the chef. One of the most comforting dining experiences I've had, & I couldn't recommend it more - I will definitely be coming back again soon!
