The food is delicious & beautifully presented. The ambience of the restaurant is classy, cozy & you are always made to feel like a valued customer. Service is excellent waitress always takes the time to make you feel welcome & to explain the various choices on the menu. I live in Montreal but the distance is well worth the ride.
Thank you to owner & staff !
Great food, really nice ambience. Best choice for Indian food that I'm aware of of.
We had dinner there last night for a friend's birthday. The food was , as always, delicious! Their Lamb Roganjosh & Coconut Curry Shrimp are out of this world! Everything was hot & tasty. We ended up staying for the Trivia night & our group won a $50 gift certificate for the restaurant! We'll be back!! One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal!!!
We had a lovely meal & an unexpected round of trivia with other guests which was fun. Food was tasty & serving sizes left us more than satisfied without feeling stuffed & no waste. Staff were pleasant & attentive. Nice ambiance. Tables are physically a bit small but putting two together made it more comfortable (we hadn't asked but the staff did this for us). Overall a nice experience & we look forward to our next visit.
Love the ambiance, food & interactive game night on thursday's which you can win 50$ off you meal if you get all the answers right (trivia)
Taste of the food is anazing. Superb cozy ambience. Ramayana wall sculptures are amazing.
Only downside is that the quantity of all dishes is very very less. Hardly two people can eat. If a person is a good eater then whole dish for 1 person. Quantity is that less.
Superb positive is that staff is really very friendly & nicely trained.
Went to sahib's for brunch when we were visiting montreal & staying at a hotel nearby.
The food was good, the quantity, however, was less for the price. The ambiance was 10/10, too.
We ordered a mixed tandoori platter & dal makhni - I didn't like dal makhni much even though we were told it was the best seller. It was just average (better options available elsewhere).
The service, however, was too overwhelming. The lady server was too talkative & just used to come stand & talk at our table even when we had our mouths full. We wanted to enjoy our meal, & while its good to be asked if you need anything, etc, staff/servers should also be respectful & mindful of their personal spaces.
My kids were watching cartoons on the phone (toddler ages) because we wanted to enjoy a meal before we headed out to take them to a park or something, & she started inquiring about the screen time I give my kids, & that if I continue to do so they'll go deaf in the ears & mind & won't listen to me in the future when they grow up. She kept passing by & asking my toddler to quickly eat food (he is a toddler & can't calculate the severity of instructions) so he started stuffing too many pieces of naan in his mouth just out of anxiousness. The screen time advice, the standing on our table for longer times, & unnecessary remarks were uncalled for.
We were also told that what we get depends on the chef's mood (when we asked for tea). She said she has to check with the chef if he is in a mood to make tea.
I would, however, appreciate them giving us some 160ml of homo milk for my little one ( for which we also out of courtesy tipped them in the bill). regardless, we were grateful for that gesture.
The food was 7/10.
Delicious well prepared food…love the food here especially the lamb. An added bonus is the great service.
Very fancy atmosphere, I can never get tired of their amazing food. I usually get the butter chicken with their amazing garlic naan. But their chili chicken chowrangi is also super delicious. Their lamb biryani is to die for, lamb isn't dry; cooked to perfection & the service is top tier. Shout out to all the waitresses including Rajiv the owner for always making me feel welcomed & big props to chef for making amazing food. Best Indian restaurant in dorval ! Never disappoints
