I went to Sae Low, a French & Asian fusion morning spot by Chef Minh, & I was genuinely impressed.

I had the eggplant tofu croissant with peanut sauce & chili oil crisp. It was incredible. Every bite had a mix of flavors that reminded me of my Asian childhood, combined with a perfectly executed French croissant. It felt both nostalgic & new at the same time.

The menu is small, around 7 to 8 items, but that actually made it harder to choose because everything sounded good. You can tell each dish is well thought out & intentional.

I asked the server for a recommendation & went with the eggplant croissant. I was unsure at first, but it ended up being the right call.

I would definitely come back, ideally with someone else so we can try more dishes.

Had an amazing brunch at Sae Low. The breakfast sandwich is to die for. The server are super nice & reactive, & our food got to our table super quickly.

A buttery croissant layered with silky poached eggs, lacquered eggplant, chili crisp, & a bright herb salad, rich, spicy, & deeply satisfying. On the side, a breakfast sandwich stacked with char siu bacon, caramelized onions, kimchi, fluffy scrambled eggs, & melted Île-aux-Grues cheddar, all tucked into a toasted English muffin with a kick of spicy mayo.

Good, but a bit more hyped than truly exceptional.

Food: I found the combinations interesting - tofu, miso, etc. I had pretty high expectations because of Instagram, so I was expecting something amazing. It was good, & I would go back, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. My friend's dish looked more interesting - I'd definitely return & order that instead.

Service: A bit confusing & felt somewhat inexperienced - which is okay. I arrived & waited at the door for a few minutes. One server told me there would be a 20-minute wait. Shortly after, another came & said she could seat me at the bar right away, but I mentioned what her colleague had said. I ended up waiting outside & was called back in after about 5 minutes to be seated at a table, which is what I wanted. They seemed a bit disorganized, but I think there's good potential & this will likely improve soon.

Atmosphere: Nothing particularly unique - again, my expectations were high because of Instagram. It's definitely not ugly, just feels a bit unfinished, though still nice overall.

Nous sommes allés pour le brunch. Quelle belle expérience! Nous avons attendu environ 15 minutes, ça vaut vraiment la peine.
Nous étions assis au'bar' & avons pu voir à quel point le staff est efficace, travaillant & talentueux. Le service était vraiment excellent.
Le croissant auberg-minh était à tomber par terre. Une délicieuse combinaison de saveurs parfaitement agencées avec la coriandre fraîche par-dessus.
Le sandwich déjeuner était vraiment très bon aussi, le char siu était divin. Toutefois, l'assiette feelait un peu vide.. Il manquerait un petit quelque chose pour accompagner. Peut-être simplement une petite salade de mesclun. Ça relèverait l'apparence de l'assiette & justifierait le prix un peu plus. C'est notre seule petite suggestion qui n'enlève rien à la merveilleuse expérience!
Nous avons vu passer plusieurs pains dorés à l'ananas, & WOW quelle belle assiette, nulle doute que c'est délicieux. Ils étaient généreusement apprêtés.
Le matcha avec le sirop maison à la rose était tellement bon, le matcha est clairement de bonne qualité.

La bouffe était incroyable! J'en aurai manger deux bols (dumpling déjeuner) mon mari & ma belle mère on prit le sandwich déjeuner & ils ont adorés! C'est un brin loud haha mais sinon le staff super souriant & accueillant! Longue vie à ce resto! Je recommande à 100%

Food was pretty good. I loved the flavours of the breakfast sandwich. However i thought the price was pretty steep for just a sandwich. I have would appreciated it more if it came with a side of house salad or hasbrowns/tatertots/potatoes. Just a little something on the side would've been nice since it is $19 +tax & tip. & presentation wise, a lonely sandwich on a circular plate looked kinda sad.

The rest of the dishes were good. I also like to give a special shoutout to the french toast; fresh pineapples!!!!
It's a small detail, but seeing them prep the pineapple in the kitchen wowed us since a lot of places would use canned pineapples.

The staff were very friendly. We were a group of 4. Most tables were for 2. We were pretty flexible so we decided to split our group. & when they were able to sit us together, they informed us immediately & helped us move.

Worth to try at lease once!
