We ordered shrimp 🍤 tacos, mushroom quesadilla & green papaya salad. Shrimp tacos were great, very tasty. Mushroom quesadilla was alright. Green papaya was tangy, not really sweet. Food was served fast. It was hot & we didn't sit outside. It'd be nice to sit outside in summer on a cooler day or at evening times.

Quick service, the food is made with fresh ingredients & they have vegan tacos. Sabrosa also offers their homemade sauces. Very friendly staff & delicious food, with options for the whole family.

I had high hopes when I visited this restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience didn't meet expectations. I ordered the birria tacos, & to be honest, they were disappointing. The meat tasted overly greasy, & instead of being tender & flavorful, it was filled with unpleasant chunks of fat. The seasoning didn't shine through the oiliness, & the overall dish felt heavy & poorly balanced.
Presentation aside, the quality of the ingredients just wasn't there. For a dish that's supposed to be rich & comforting, this one left me feeling unsatisfied. I really wanted to like it, but based on this experience, I wouldn't return or recommend it

Idéalement situé sur la place Jean Cartier.
Le staff est très souriant & disponible.
Les plats sont légers & goûteux.
Un très bon moment.

Sabrosa is by far the best restaurant at Place Jacques-Cartier. The location is prime, & the food was outstanding. The salads & ceviche were incredibly fresh & flavorful, & the tacos were delicious as well. The service was warm, attentive, & efficient. Highly recommended!

A delicious experience! The food was lipsmackingly good. Our meals were beautifully presented & the. flavours were thoughtfully balanced. Service too, was incredible. Glad we picked Sabrosa for our lunch! Thank you!

-Situé au coeur du Vieux-Montréal dans une bâtisse historique pleine de charme, ce restaurant mexicain offre une expérience authentique & mémorable. L'accueil y est des plus chaleureux, & le service, impeccable, vous fait sentir comme à la maison. Quant à la nourriture, elle est tout simplement succulente, avec des saveurs riches & bien équilibrées qui raviront les amateurs de cuisine mexicaine. Une adresse incontournable pour un repas délicieux dans un cadre unique !

Great tacos & guacamole. The barria & fish tacos are top tier. The fish tacos were a bit to saucy making the side tortillas break but they were good. Drinks were also unique.

Cinnamon pancakes were ok. They were served cold. & came out at least 6 minutes before our other order. No questions during our sitting besides taking out order. Bathrooms are downstairs, small yet pretty walls. It was nice & food was good, won't lie about that, but....
Personally, I wouldn't go back.
