Upon arriving in Montreal, I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible experience at this restaurant. The birria I ordered was not only generously portioned but also packed with flavor. The margarita was equally impressive. However, what truly stood out to me was the exceptional service. Tom was attentive throughout, but Natalia's warm & genuine hospitality made our visit special. When she overheard that we were Brazilian, she played music that made us feel right at home. It's those small, thoughtful gestures that transform a good meal into a memorable experience. We will definitely be back!
Great location & outdoor heated patio. Situated right where the tourist area is. The pricing is high as such. Got seated immediately on a Thursday night, although the patio was busy. Birria tacos are fantastic & filled well. Could've used a little more salt though. The corn was also good. Service is good. Overall had a good time.

Les portions sont bonnes Les plats sont délicieux, guacamole un peu trop de lime mais cest bon. Birria la viande est généreuse Le service rapide & tout le personnel sympathique. Petit bémol : le pourboire commence à 18% sur la machine, je ne suis pas trop fan de cette pratique.
Food: Despite paying a premium of $23 for three small birria tacos, the meat was dry & flavorless, & the accompanying birria dipping sauce lacked both thickness & taste. To make matters worse, we had to request salt to enhance the flavor. Service: The initial service was fast, with our food order taken within 5 minutes. However, the experience quickly deteriorated. A different person brought our food, & we never saw our original server again until we had to flag him down for water. To our surprise, he immediately presented us with the bill instead of addressing our request. He didn't seem very happy to be there or to serve us. I kind of expected this but this restaurant is in a touristic area, where the tourist is paying for over priced food. The least you could do, if the food isn't great, is to provide good service. Lastly, we had an upset stomach for the rest of the day, so there was definitely something going on with that meat they put in the tacos. Will definitely not go back.

My family loved our experience here. Food was great! We had calamari, fish tacos, birria tacos & the steak. Very impressed either the steak & tacos. & to top it off they brought my dog a water bowl when we were being seated. I appreciate that very much!
We recently hosted a welcome dinner for all our friends at Sabrosa, & I cannot recommend this place enough! From the moment we booked the event, Carlito & the staff were incredibly helpful & accommodating, making the entire planning process a breeze. The team at Sabrosa went above & beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly on the day of the event. The staff was exceptionally friendly & professional, timing the food service perfectly so that our guests were never left waiting. We got the birria, chicken, & fish tacos, guac, & churros. All the tacos were amazing, & the churros were phenomenal! Our guests were raving about the meal all night long. If you're looking for a place that offers fantastic food, top-notch service, & a warm, welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Sabrosa. They truly made our event special, & we can't wait to come back!
We had a fantastic time at the farewell of our best friend moving to Chicago - Ismail gave us impeccable service & made the time even more special. The rest if us in Montreal will be coming back to Sabrosa (some of us are return comers) on the condition that we can meet Ismail again. Special shoutout to the fish & birria tacos!!!!!

Amazing tacos! Coming from a Mexican this was authentic & delicious. We were served a delicious meal quickly & lots of gluten friendly options (I had the tacos birria).

We were a family of four, pretty hungry. The service was alright but the quality of food & taste was very much subpar. Also portions are quite small for the price you pay. I find the food was generally very oily so we felt unpleasantly heavy after the meal. We took birria tacos , fries, enchiladas & rice with beans. Compared to so many other places in Montreal including this kind if cuisine , this place kinda sucks. The only good thing is the ambiance probably, nothing else.
First time at this restaurant, so glad we came. Atmosphere was welcoming & Nicola our server was attentive to our needs- amazing service. Highly recommend the guacamole & chips & the birria tacos. Also, don't leave without having the churros.
One of the best meals I've had in recent memory! Great location right in Old Port, the terrace was absolutely lovely & not too hot, & our server Ismail (spelling?) was phenomenal - made great drink recommendations, was prompt & accurate, had excellent knowledge of the menu, & was an absolute delight to chat with! We got the ceviche, birria tacos, corn, & green papaya salad, & everything was incredible. Definitely on the pricier side but I was pleasantly surprised by how filling the food was - especially the tacos. Would come back, hands down - one of the best dining experiences I've had in Montreal!
Beau restaurant & terrasse agréable. Plats hit or miss. Tacos Birria un must, tacos al Pastor très fade, tacos poisson & poulet frit boff. Service des cocktails très long, nos plats sont arrivés 5-10 min avant.

We were really impressed. Staff was friendly, menu was really well thought out, made me want to try everything. Food was amazing. The ceviche was exquisite, (I'll admit I had to remove the chile slices because it's was a little too spicy for me). Very well balanced & tasty. Birria tacos were excellent as well, a lot of flavour, everything was well balanced. A very well executed taco. But the knockout was the pastor tacos, they were absolutely dripping with flavour. So delicious!, we all tried it & it was everyone's favorite. The passion fruit lemonade was really tasty, & just acidic enough to taste the passion fruit. I agree that it would have been better with a little less ice
Absolutely loved the birria tacos & papaya salad at this cozy Mexican spot! The flavors were incredible. However, the drinks were a bit lacking with 90% ice & 10% drink, which was disappointing. But I 100% recommend this place!
Amazing experience, great food. Service was one of the best, smiling waiters giving good advice & genuine. Good job to the team I will come back for sure & with friends for a drink & tacos! Recommending the birria tacos & fries!
Je ne laisse pas souvent des commentaires sur les restaurants car la plupart du temps l'expérience est sympa mais sans plus. Souvent la hype des endroits branchés se fait au détriment de la qualité des plats. Nous y avions été un lundi, un peu par hasard car il n'y a pas beaucoup de restaurants ouverts les lundi. Sabrosa se distingue des autres places que j'ai visitées a Montreal surtout par la qualité de sa cuisine. Étonnant vu sa situation dans l'hyper-centre touristique. Nous étions 2 & avons pris salade de papaye, salade sabrosa, les deux ne sont pas boring, & on sent que les produits frais travaillés sont de bonne qualité. Puis Tacos Birria & vegan tacos. Je n'ai pas visité tous les restaurants a Tacos de la ville mais pour moi ce sont les meilleurs. Nous avons pris du vin au verre, & POUR UNE FOIS, je n'ai pas été déçue. La carte des vins est diversifiée, next time ca sera la bouteille, je suis sure de trouver un excellent rapport qualité prix. Le restaurant a une super vibe, musique bossa nova, pour une ambiance cozy & tamisée, parfaite pour un lundi. Je me suis surprise a shazamer deux trois fois. Bref on sent qu'on a affaire a des passionnés & a du très bon boulot. Hâte d'y retourner, en terrasse cette fois, quand elle aura ouvert. Vu ma bonne première impression, je suis curieuse de découvrir leurs cocktails. Bref une excellente surprise. Hasta la vista.
Amazing food & vibes! We got the birria, El pastor & fish tacos. El pastor were my favorite but they were all good. Papaya salad & corn on the cob. All tasted great. Service was quick & attentive & shoutout to their playlist 🔥 great vibes.
