Review Summary

Sabor Latino is widely regarded as a vibrant and essential destination in Montreal that successfully combines an authentic grocery store, butcher shop, and casual restaurant under one roof. Guests consistently praise the establishment for its wide selection of imported Latin American goods and flavorful, generous portions of homemade dishes like empanadas, tacos, and various traditional soups. While the majority of visitors highlight the warm, welcoming service and the genuine cultural atmosphere that makes them feel at home, a small number of customers have noted concerns regarding pricing, occasional inconsistencies in baked goods, or isolated negative interactions with staff. Overall, it remains a beloved local gem for those seeking an immersive and delicious taste of Latin American cuisine and culture in the heart of the city.

Very authentic & delicious Mexican food served in a cafeteria style process. Fantastic to take back to the office or to the park. Quesadillas are a personal favourite. The 4 choices is a great value to taste some different things & be full for $15.

I always go to Sabor Latino when I'm craving authentic Latin food at a great price. Since it's also a market, you can find a variety of products for really good prices as well.

The service is excellent-the staff is always warm & welcoming. The ambiance is pretty simple, more like a market snack bar, with no real frills, but the food definitely makes up for it.

I've tried several dishes there over time, & they're consistently well-served & flavorful. The tacos & the tres leches cake are definitely highlights.

If you crave authentic Latin American flavors in Montreal, Sabor Latino on St-Laurent Blvd is an absolute must-visit! This vibrant spot perfectly blends a Latin grocery store, bakery, butcher, & restaurant all under one roof, making it a true one-stop shop for all things Latino.

Their pupusas are hands down some of the best in town-fresh, perfectly stuffed, & bursting with flavor. & if you're a taco lover, don't miss their tacos, which many locals rave about as some of the most authentic & tasty you'll find in Montreal. From Colombian empanadas to Mexican tamales & arepas, every dish is made with care & genuine Latin passion.

I've lived in Montreal all my life & never stepped inside of here before but better late than never. The menu is extensive with lots of vegetarian options & the service is polite & fast. The vibe & food are 100% authentic (they even specify from where each of the empanadas originate from.) I had the spicy vegetarian burrito & it kept me full & nourished all day. Healthy & delicious food at a great price. They have the option to eat in or take to go. Eat in you get your food on a plate & to go they put it in a plastic container or paper bag. Best to eat in to avoid the plastic but if you take the burrito it makes no difference.
