I was excited to try this South American restaurant. They had a lot of customers & I was sure the food was going to be good. The person behind the counter was very patient & kind & provided explanations of every dish. He was especially pushing for the ribs. Apparently some customers even say that they are better than B Rouge. I took his suggestion but I was very disappointed. The ribs must have been boiled for a long time because it's extremely soft & dry. They put some sauce on it & then into the oven so it's a bit caramelised. It is overcooked to the point where the bones are soft. The beef dish was the same. Overcooked & dry. I do not enjoy this kind of cooking. But since they are very busy, I guess my taste is different from the ones of their clientele. On top of that, two dishes with two drinks came up to about $53 for food court style takeout food.
Lamentablemente los buenos sabores son apagados por el pésimo servicio del administrador de la cocina, quien es muy grosero con los clientes y hasta con sus propios companeros… Ojalá se pueda resolver la actitud de esta persona.
Les pupusas sont très bonnes & grandes. Mais la portion de la sauce rouge trop petite. Un combo de deux pupusas on devrais donner plus de sauces. Donc j'ai mangé une pupusas correct pis l'autre sec. La portion qu'ils donnent devrais êtes pour une pupusas & non pour deux. & même là pour une c'est pas assez.
Aujourd hui j étais pour la 1ere fois, j adoré la place, & le personnel super aimable, j ai parlé en espagnol & tout de suite on ma repondu en espagnol!!!
J ai acheté qqs petites choses, & un tamal peruvien....j etais un peu crentive, mais l experience fut super bonne!!!
Le même gout que dans mes souvenirs!!! & meme beaucoup plus de poulet que beaucoup d autres,
Pour resumer, gracias Sabor Latino por haberme echo acordar lo rico que sabe la cocina latina, y sobre todo, de no tener que ir hasta Montreal para probarla!!!!
Seguro que voy a volver, y si fuera usted, iria a dar una vuelta prontito!!!!!
