Review Summary

Across reviews, S.O. Qun is portrayed as an affordable option with generous portions and flavorful dishes, appreciated for good value and dependable quality that keeps bringing diners back for both dine in and takeout. Ambiance is often described as attractive with a beautiful Asian inspired interior, a calm and cozy atmosphere, and a convenient location near the college area, though not the most lively. Service is commonly praised as friendly and attentive, with many noting quick, courteous staff, but a few visits report slower service and a language barrier that caused a mistaken order. Dishes frequently highlighted include gyoza, sushi, poke bowls, kimchi jiggae, bulgogi, tonkatsu and general tao, with portions that resemble the pictures and strong flavors, while some items are described as good but ordinary or overly sweet depending on the dish and execution. Overall, the consensus leans toward a positive impression with many willing to return and recommend, though some experiences mention long waits, occasional order errors, or inconsistent quality.

Went to this Asian fusion restaurant recently. I'd say if you are looking for multiple cheap dinner or lunch options this place is a nice visit. They have customizable options, plenty of vegetarian options, & fairly priced portions.

I got the spicy Bulgogi & it was pretty good, served on a hot plate with a side of rice (most Korean dishes comes with side of rice) my table also got some fried rice & general tso chicken which was pretty good, nothing too exceptional however it was good.

We did have some issues with service being a bit slow even though we were the only people at the restaurant at the time, we had ordered a sushi with avocado & the avocado was missing so that had to be replaced.

This place is great for a cheap Asian fusion experience in all!

The place looks great the moment you walk in. Very spacious, with 2 1/2 floor. The waiter was extremely nice. But the food... Is really not great... The pineapple chicken, there was no pineapple... & it was soooo sweet... The portion is not much... & I added the fried rice & it was just soya sauce & rice... Terrible...

This is a nice place. Very well decorated & honestly pretty. However, the food was bad & bland. A lot of the dishes (bibimbap, pap thai, Katsu Shanghai noodles, etc. ) that we ordered weren't seasoned well. In fact, most of it tasted very bland & lacked flavor. As for the sushi, the rice felt very mushy. For the price that you're paying, I would have expected more. I personally wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. On the bright side, drinks were good. The service was decent, but not exceptional.

Tried the kamikaze sushi & it was just not good at all. Way too much rice & not enough filling. Also it had a doughy, flour coat that made the sushi taste like a pastry... it was just wrong & not fresh. Service was OK.
