The food is best in Montreal & even to add some extra they organize a gig night every friday the guy sings really well & this is something exceptional that a food business is taking initiative for customers convenience! If you are visiting montreal do give them a try. Their thaali is something an indian craves for. Highly recommended

J'ai passé un excellent moment au restaurant Indian Rutba à Montréal. La nourriture était absolument délicieuse, pleine de saveurs authentiques & parfaitement préparée. Chaque plat était un vrai plaisir !
Le restaurant était très occupé, mais malgré l'achalandage, l'équipe a su tout gérer avec le sourire, ce qui a rendu l'expérience encore plus agréable.
Un merci tout particulier à Simran pour sa gentillesse & son attention exceptionnelle. Son accueil chaleureux a vraiment fait la différence. C'est une personne douce & très professionnelle.
Je recommande vivement cet endroit ! ⭐?

hugely disappointing amount of butter chicken in my $30 takeaway order. had to wait 5 + minutes for a finished pickup as all the servers ignored me.

Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, & wonderful staff.
I ordered the Bengali fish curry. The fish was creamy & tender yet held its shape without crumbling apart. Gravy was rich & full of flavour.
Staff were friendly & accommodating.
I will definitely be returning again.

We were on Canada trip for 10 days & were busy exploring.we had only one indian meal this holiday & I am so glad we picked up Rutba in Montreal.
Unbelievable food ,excellent service .
We were looked after by simran very pleasent & helpful,quick service ,good portion size & good price.
I will recommend it to every one visiting Montreal.

Mtl à table event led us to this restaurant. Indian food was very good along with the service. Among others, samosa was surprisingly good. 4 course meal for $35 was a good deal. Washroom wasn't clean though.

Disappointing. Went last Saturday since it had really high ratings. Was presented with a brunch menu with only a couple of choices, asked if the regular menu would be available, the kind server said no. So I picked, & asked if there was any way to get an appetizer off the regular menu & she was kind enough to let me order one.
While I was waiting, a group also asked about ordering from the regular menu & the server offered it to them, which really pissed me off but I didn't say anything. They ended up just walking out, but I was really disappointed that I wasn't offered the same.
Once my main meal came, it was not what I ordered, & after a couple of back & forth, the server relented to take it away & check. 10 min late I got what I ordered with an apology.
The food was mediocre, & the spicy fries were cold potatoes that weren't seasoned at all, with ketchup..
Overall, wouldn't go back, seems like the rating is hardly representative of everything.

A hidden gem!! We discovered this place with MTL à table & we were pleasantly surprised. The staff is super friendly & helpful & the food is amazing. The samosas are soooo good, the shrimp were perfectly cooked & the lamb rogan josh is to die for. I highly recommanded & will definitely visit again.
