Our group of 7 got drinks & dinner at Rutba & all rate it 5/5! Our server, Sim, was incredibly helpful & attentive. Our group loved the combo meals, butter chicken, & paneer. Cocktails were also great. I recommend the satanic guava cocktail if you like spicy drinks!
The food was amazing!! I've lived in Hyderabad my whole life & it's so difficult to find good food that tastes like i've eaten somewhere from home. After a long time, I've liked food that tastes so good!! Kudos to the chef!! Everything we tried was soo good!!!
We ordered moti fish, bokchoy chat, garlic naan, telangana chicken curry, rasmalai tres leches & kheer brûlée. The only thing that disappointed us was kheer brulee, we didn't like the taste.
Great ambience, great food, great service. Absolutely nothing to complain. The Rogan Josh, Butter chicken & kebab is to die for. The cheesecake is fab as well! Highly highly recommended
1. The restaurant has only one AC, which is not enough to cool the place; it was extremely hot inside. They kept industrial fans, but even those were not working properly & didn't help with ventilation.
2. We ordered Kadai Chicken, Naan, Dal Tadka, Rice, & Lassi. The quantity of all dishes was very less compared to the price. The lassi was watery, lacking thickness & taste.
3. The washroom was extremely unhygienic, smelling like an Indian public washroom - very unpleasant.
Overall, the experience was just okay, nothing special & not worth revisiting.
My friend & I recently visited Rutba, & we had an absolutely amazing dining experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, every dish was packed with flavour & beautifully prepared.
We started with the Samosa Chaat, which was the perfect balance of crispy, tangy, & savoury flavours. For our mains, we ordered the Lamb Biryani & Chicken Tikka, both of which were exceptional. The lamb biryani was aromatic, rich, & perfectly seasoned, while the chicken tikka was tender, juicy, & full of smoky flavour. We also enjoyed the Butter Naan, which was fresh, soft, & the perfect accompaniment to our meal.
What truly elevated our experience was the service. Sravani was incredibly warm, welcoming, & attentive throughout our visit. She worked efficiently despite being busy, made us feel genuinely cared for, & provided excellent recommendations that helped us choose some of our favourite dishes of the evening. Her friendly personality & professionalism added so much to the overall experience.
Between the delicious food, inviting atmosphere, & exceptional service, Rutba exceeded our expectations. We left completely satisfied & hiiiighly recommend to anyone looking for authentic, flavourful food & outstanding hospitality :)
The ambiance is quite nice especially with the open air concept. The service was really good, the waitress was very patient & helped us out. The food was where is it gets a bit muddy. The portion was quite small in my opinion. We got the butter chicken & the $50 meal for two & the portion size was diabolically small (the $50 plate is left in the photo + naan) There was also barely any chicken in both curries. The chicken tikka masala was fine taste wise. I did enjoy the samosa & butter chicken but everything else was just fine.
We had a delicious dinner here. My husband & I really enjoyed the Tandoori chicken & lamb rogan josh. I also had the Gulabi Breeze cocktail, really pretty & tasty too. Simran & her coworker who served us were both great.
Our first visit to Rutba was such a delight - tasty food, cozy ambiance, & friendly service. We may have ordered a bit too much, but everything was so good it was hard not to.
The star for us was the Telangana chicken curry: bold flavors with curry leaves giving off a beautiful perfumed aroma. The lamb rogan josh was also a favorite.
We couldn't resist the Rasmalai Tres Leches dessert, which did not disappoint. The flavors of cardamom, rose, & pistachio in this tiramisu-style sweet were divine. A perfect way to end a wonderful meal.
The space is casual & comfortable, & the staff are attentive & kind.
We're already planning our return for the samosa chaat, one of their many butter chicken variations, & another round of that Rasmalai dessert.
