La carte met en vedette des spécialités très appréciées telles que butter chicken, dal rutba, paneer lababdar, rogan josh, samosas et ras malai tiramisu, le tout à des prix raisonnables et parfois des concerts live ajoutent à l'expérience. L'ambiance est chaleureuse, le décor est soigné et le service est souvent décrit comme attentionné, faisant de cet endroit une adresse prisée pour les amateurs de cuisine indienne à Montréal.
Vraiment Vraiment très bon. Je recommande +++ le poulet au beurre burrata le pain naan fromage & le cocktail sour rutba. Sinon tout est bon, curry, assiette combo...
Une très belle place pour passer un bon moment en dégustant une excellente cuisine indienne. Nous avons découvert ce resto avec MTL à Table & nous reviendrons !

This place is phenomenal!!! By far the best Indian food I've ever had!! Both the food & the drinks were delicious, the ambience was lovely, & the owner, Surbha, was so kind & accommodating!! We stumbled in without a reservation & she squeezed us in nevertheless- an absolute must if you're in Montreal!!
The food is exquisite & the service is impeccable! I would come back here, over & over again. Authentic cuisine with a spin to it that your taste buds will thank you for!
Loved the food, ambience & service. We had Methi Malai Chicken with Rosemery Naan & Chicken Tikka Biryani. Loved all of them. & above all, it was accompanied by wonderful service.

We were here for the MTL à table experience, which is a great way for restaurants to show off their menu, at least that's what I was expecting. I was so disappointed with this one. Serving paneer with no sauce? interesting. Plate of 4 "malai" shrimps, still no sauce? Naan was great, the rest of the food lacked flavor (I don't know how you can mess up butter chicken...) & this is coming from a non-spicy eater lol. I don't understand how this place is so highly rated, especially considering that Montreal has so many great Indian food spots. Lastly, I don't care much for the service if the food is great, but in this case, maybe a nicer service would've made up for the bland food? first & last time for me!
Visited Rutba for their MTLàTable menu set at 35$ For the price at which this menu is offered, the dinner was worth it. The lahsooni murg tikka was my personal highlight; the chicken pieces were smoky & succulently juicy, & the sauce aromatic & creamy. The naan bread was soft & crispy. The butter chicken was creamy but perhaps lacked the stronger kick of richness that I typically prefer. Service was very nice. The staff were very friendly & accommodating. The ambiance is very warm & welcoming. The walls are beautifully scattered with canvas frames. Large plants & brass dinnerware nicely compliment the wood-focused interior design. Unfortunately a set of flickering lights in the dining room were straining to the eyes & headache-inducing by the end of the meal.
Really nice ambiance & staff is superb. Only issue is the lack of portion & if you are someone who likes the typical Indian taste this might not be a great option.

Très belle découverte lors de "Montréal à table 2024". Les portions étaient vraiment correctes mais surtout les saveurs étaient bien présentes : goûteux & onctueux à souhait ! Il est fort probable qu'on y retournera :)
Best restaurant in downtown montreal. We were 5 people all of us liked the food. Manchurian noodle was bestest in whole Montréal. Highly recommended if you are foodie person try it out this restaurant. Nobody told me to write a review. I'm giving coz I really love it
Excellent food, excellent atmosphere & excellent service. The taste of the food reminds me of india. Our server Harsimran was so humble & friendly. Overall it was a great experience for me at Rutba, definitely going to come back soon.
First time here in this restaurant & i was so impressed by the food & atmosphere. HarSimran, the girl who served us gave us the best experience at rutba. She is so welcoming & gives excellent customer service. The best indian food i ate in montreal is here. Will for sure come back again & again to have these tasty indian dishes. I really recommend this place if you're craving for indian food.
