Rolled into this restaurant with a hungry crew full of dietary restrictions. The staff were incredibly kind & helpful. Delicious food did not disappoint. Highly recommend the paneer labadar & shahi korma

The Paneer Lababdar was orange & tangy so just like any other American Indian restaurant in the city, not for Indians looking for original taste. Breads were nicely done in the tandoor. The appetizers Veg kebab felt dry for some reason. But we should be back to try some other items on the menu.
Best Indian restaurant in Montreal. We tried vegetarian food, each & every dish was amazing. Must try- zaffrani broccoli, Dal Rutba, Nawabi paneer tikka, malai Kofta , mocktails was also very good.. unique & tasty Dishes Recommend this Restaurant 100% & live music on Fridays makes it perfect Date night idea in Montreal..
We ate here for our anniversary dinner, & it was one of the most delicious & satisfying meals I've had in a very long time. The samosa were big & flaky, & the palak paneer had just the right amount of spice. Highly recommend the burrata butter chicken. Well-designed interior & impeccable service.
One of the finest places in Montreal to try Indian food. I would rate it 10/10 on the food quality & taste, we tried their pomfret, chicken, butter paneer & they were all amazing. On top of that the cocktails they have are superb. & the owners are perfect host, they will check on you to ensure that everything is good. & last but not the least their pistachio tiramisu was extremely tasty, I would highly recommend this place.
We went there from Ottawa on a friend's recommendation. We tried both vegetarian & non vegetarian options. The highlight was Dal Rutba one of the best so far I've had. Lahsooni murg Tikka was ok for me, a bit chewy but I've trust in their kitchen & they'll do justice to it. In main course we had kadhai chicken & paneer Tikka masala. Overall taste is good but a little more roasting the base of the gravy will enhance the taste . They can use a bit less oil because their food is delicious anyway. Naan, laccha paratha, rosemary naan(very creative) & delicious. All the breads were fresh, soft & delicious. The staff is so friendly & treated everyone nicely. Either owner was accompanying every table when the order arrived & gave their personal attention. We're in awe of how the staff was dealing with everyone & everything. Overall the restaurant looks promising & would love to go there again & try other options. Kudos team Rutba, way to go!

They say food can make you feel at home & well this place proves it. Visited Rutba with my parents & it was everything about home they were missing - great Indian flavours, warm & welcoming vibes & nostalgic music. We ordered chicken tikka that was juicy & flavourful, the saag channa was an unexpected surprise & paneer biryani was the best we had in a while. Must try for anyone looking for'Ghar ka khana' with a twist
Hands down best indian food so far .. customer service was so welcoming, rustic indoor & patio like feel. Must visit🤗 Dal Rutba, Paneer Tikka Masala, Paneer Lababdar, Paneer Biryani, rosemary naan is a must try
Exceptional food. My partner is not a fan of Indian food & he absolutely loved this place. Generous portions, reasonable prices, great flavours & lovely service. Paneer tikka masala with naan & a bengal bay cocktail 👌 12/10
Nice , cozy ambiance. We went there for dinner with family & had dal rutba & paneer lababdar ! Everything was yummylicious ! We enjoyed alot thanks to the team

Visiting from New York, the classic butter chicken & palak paneer were great as was the coriander chutney--super fresh & vibrant flavors, our dishes were luxuriously creamy & not greasy at all like so many NYC spots. Also very accommodating for our not quite 2-year-old daughter! Looking forward to returning next time we're in Montreal!
I came here with my friend when she was visiting Montreal & it did not disappoint!! Our server Kira was lovely & gave us the excellent recommendation of pani puri as an appetizer. It was delightfully refreshing, we loved the tangy water. Also just fun to eat. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful not to mention taste phenomenal. The paneer tikka masala was our favorite dish we ordered. As for naan, definitely get the cheese naan. They don't mess around. Highly recommend this restaurant!
I went there tonight & tried paneer labaabdar , pani puri & mango cheese cake . Omg , it was amazing, super delicious & best service. Staff was very polite. Recommended .

The restaurant is really good. Ordered Paneer tikka Masala, Chicken Masala, Garlic Naan & Paratha. The food was really good & the service as well. Loved the ambience, food & service. The Daal makhani at this place is also awesome, I have ordered it many times through UberEats.
We dined in . We ordered butter chicken, paneer labobdar, malai koffta, butter naan, garlic naan, lasha prantha, with 70 percent spice level. Just salt was less in paneer labobdar & malai paneer. Service was 100 percent perfect from my side, one white girl, she was very polite & humble she treated us well. Thanks 👍🏻
Amazing food, service & vibe👌👌 Had the malai kofta & Tandoor paneer tikka along with the bread basket, everything had good flavours & spices. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu!
