?'What an impressive meal at Rutba! Honestly, I was blown away by the presentation-every single plate was absolutely beautiful, looking like something you'd see in a magazine.
?The food was rich, maybe even a little heavy, but in the best way possible. Those curries (mewa kofta & murgh makhni andaz) were incredibly decadent & creamy, perfect for tearing apart some fresh naan & dipping. The appetizers were fun, especially the Pani Puri. & dessert (rasmalai très leches & gulab jamun with ice cream) was the perfect, elegant finish.
?If you're looking for high-end, gorgeous Indian food that's packed with flavor, this is definitely the spot. Go hungry!'
Best Indian food in Montreal!
A huge shout out to Sim, our fabulous server, & also to the Chef, who was very accommodating. Our table was difficult: lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance, vegetarian, & 2 other picky eaters... But Sim was so patient, plus the dishes were perfectly prepared & absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back!

The food is best in Montreal & even to add some extra they organize a gig night every friday the guy sings really well & this is something exceptional that a food business is taking initiative for customers convenience! If you are visiting montreal do give them a try. Their thaali is something an indian craves for. Highly recommended
J'ai passé un excellent moment au restaurant Indian Rutba à Montréal. La nourriture était absolument délicieuse, pleine de saveurs authentiques & parfaitement préparée. Chaque plat était un vrai plaisir !
Le restaurant était très occupé, mais malgré l'achalandage, l'équipe a su tout gérer avec le sourire, ce qui a rendu l'expérience encore plus agréable.
Un merci tout particulier à Simran pour sa gentillesse & son attention exceptionnelle. Son accueil chaleureux a vraiment fait la différence. C'est une personne douce & très professionnelle.
We were on Canada trip for 10 days & were busy exploring.we had only one indian meal this holiday & I am so glad we picked up Rutba in Montreal.

Mtl à table event led us to this restaurant. Indian food was very good along with the service. Among others, samosa was surprisingly good. 4 course meal for $35 was a good deal. Washroom wasn't clean though.
I really enjoyed the food here. I love Indian food, & this place surpassed my expectations. Sim the server was especially nice & kind. Will definitely go again!
This is easily one of Montreal's best Indian restaurants. The combination of great food & a lovely ambiance makes for a wonderful dining experience. Plus, the service was excellent-truly top-notch.

I've tried Noodle Manchurian & soya chap. Noodles were extremely spicy, I couldn't bear the taste. Though it's my mistake to ask for a bit spicy because I thought Indian restaurants here are making food considering the spice level which is acceptable by everyone, but what I had today was too spicy & just raw chilis. Soya chap was bland & no taste. Service was ok.
Had dinner at Rutba last night with friends & it was excellent! We ordered the chicken biryani, paneer & kofta curries with some naans, plus a cocktail & a beer. Everything was packed with authentic Indian flavors & tasted delicious. The ambiance inside is warm, stylish, & perfect for a night out. A big thanks to Simram for the wonderful service & for surprising us with complimentary gulab jamun, & to Hritik for being so attentive throughout. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for flavorful Indian food in Montreal!
Best Indian food I've had in Canada - possibly best ever! Travelled around India previously & like to try out Indian restaurants in places I've visited. Every dish was super flavoursome & wonderfully spiced - felt very authentic. The food made me very happy but also sad that it isn't local to me as I'm only visiting. Simran was also a great server very friendly & welcoming.
I recently visited Montreal & stumbled across this gem of a restaurant called Rutba. I was seated outside by my server, Simran who sold me on the combination platter! The different flavors of each item were 100% on point. The spice level was deliciously perfect. Truly an experience in Indian flavors & gracious service.

I usually don't enjoy Indian cuisine, a matter of personal taste I use to believe. But after having tried this place I realize I had been having the wrong thing all this time. This place is amazing, their food is so impressive, delicate & full of flavor. So many little savory nuances, I was really blown away. Highly recommended. & the service is a plus. They well so welcoming since the start, they open the terrace for us even if it was too early. Our server, Sim, she is a jewel, totally adorable & professional.
Rutba in Montreal is a gem-vibrant vibe, cozy decor, & stellar Indian food. Simran's warm, attentive service made our night special. Highly recommend🥰

Absolute fire ❤??🔥 phenomenal Indian flavours, great ambience & setting, lovely staff. Everything was so delicious. The Samosa is a musttttt! Best samosa I've ever had. Served in a pool of yoghurt, chutney, tamarind, & pomegranate seeds, incredible texture. Wow! 11/10
I came to Montreal for a vacation for the 3rd time.. never got a chance to each such delicious indian food.. amazing experience.. really good quality food at reasonable prices. Must visit if u r craving indian food in Montreal.
