One of the finest places in Montreal to try Indian food. I would rate it 10/10 on the food quality & taste, we tried their pomfret, chicken, butter paneer & they were all amazing. On top of that the cocktails they have are superb. & the owners are perfect host, they will check on you to ensure that everything is good. & last but not the least their pistachio tiramisu was extremely tasty, I would highly recommend this place.
We went there from Ottawa on a friend's recommendation. We tried both vegetarian & non vegetarian options. The highlight was Dal Rutba one of the best so far I've had. Lahsooni murg Tikka was ok for me, a bit chewy but I've trust in their kitchen & they'll do justice to it. In main course we had kadhai chicken & paneer Tikka masala. Overall taste is good but a little more roasting the base of the gravy will enhance the taste . They can use a bit less oil because their food is delicious anyway. Naan, laccha paratha, rosemary naan(very creative) & delicious. All the breads were fresh, soft & delicious. The staff is so friendly & treated everyone nicely. Either owner was accompanying every table when the order arrived & gave their personal attention. We're in awe of how the staff was dealing with everyone & everything. Overall the restaurant looks promising & would love to go there again & try other options. Kudos team Rutba, way to go!

We had a lovely meal at Rutba. Amazing Indian food with a twist & interesting pairings. We had the Pani Puri, the Papri Chat, Tikka with blue cheese & the Butter Chicken with pistachio & raisins, which were all delicious. Great atmosphere & presentation. Aleena, our waitress, was very attentive & took great care of us.
Guys this is a place you must try I am a chef myself & detail in food & service is super important. Literally the best butter chicken I ever had, the Biryani is so flavorful & fragrant with fresh & delicious naan bread. Fantastic service & great people. I definitely recommend it!
Wonderful meal! We visited this past weekend & were impressed by the atmosphere & especially the food & cocktails. The dal is so flavorful. I highly recommend. & the Rogan Josh is some of the best I've had. The tandoori chicken was moist & delicious. Truly one of the best Indian meals I've had.
They say food can make you feel at home & well this place proves it. Visited Rutba with my parents & it was everything about home they were missing - great Indian flavours, warm & welcoming vibes & nostalgic music. We ordered chicken tikka that was juicy & flavourful, the saag channa was an unexpected surprise & paneer biryani was the best we had in a while. Must try for anyone looking for'Ghar ka khana' with a twist
My partner & I had a lovely lunch. We had the Lentil soup, butter chicken & Garlic Naan. Each dish was very delicious, we shared the chicken dish with rice & Naan & it hit the spot for perfect amount of food. Very lovely service as well & the atmosphere is very comfortable & cute.

Great food & service. Anna was our server & she was polite & professional, an excellent server. We had Chicken Tikka Biriyani, & lamb Josh with Naan. Food & drinks wereserved on time & was excellent in presentation, spice level & taste. Rutba in Montreal was a very positive experience & a must visit if you are in Montreal.
Absolument la meilleure cuisine indienne que j'ai jamais goûtée ! L'ambiance est fantastique, la nourriture est incroyable & l'attention aux détails est impressionnante. À essayer absolument, fortement recommandé ! Ne manquez pas leur Burrata Butter Chicken & leurs cocktails irrésistibles.
Great ambience & interesting menu, the service was great & the food fantastic. The honey chilli cauliflower, burrata butter chicken & eggplant curry were delicious & they can make it really spicy, yay!
Visiting from New York, the classic butter chicken & palak paneer were great as was the coriander chutney--super fresh & vibrant flavors, our dishes were luxuriously creamy & not greasy at all like so many NYC spots. Also very accommodating for our not quite 2-year-old daughter! Looking forward to returning next time we're in Montreal!

One of the best indian restaurant in Montreal. The food is mouth watering with great service. The people working at restaurant are so welcoming & loving. Malai Kofta, Butter Chicken & garlic naan are must try. If you're looking for brunch, do try their paranthas. A must visit !!!! Great vibe.
La cuisine indienne est ma favorite & j'ai decouvert le meilleur restaurant indient que j'ai eu la chance d'essayer. La cuisine de ce restaurant est tout a fait incroyable & ils apportent de l'innovation dans les recettes originaires. Comme le Poulet au beurre avec la Burrata. C'est un melange délicieux. Si j'avais pu gouter a tout le menu je l'aurais fait mais ça sera pour une prochaine fois. Je le recommande vraiment a tout amateur de bonne cuisine... c'était une explosion de saveur ______ Indian cuisine is my favorite & I discovered the best Indian restaurant I have ever had the chance to try. Une vraie découverte. C'est le meilleur restaurant indien que j'ai eu la chance d'essayer! J'ai mangé le poulet au beurre avec la Burrata & le melange des deux était incroyable. Tout était un melange savoureux a partir des drinks, du pain Naan & des sauces. Je vais certainement y retourner pour essayer le reste du menu! ----- A real discovery. This is the best Indian restaurant I've ever had the chance to try! I ate the butter chicken with the Burrata & the combination of the two was incredible. Everything was a tasty mix from the drinks, Naan bread & sauces. I will definitely go back to try the rest of the menu!

The restaurant is really good. Ordered Paneer tikka Masala, Chicken Masala, Garlic Naan & Paratha. The food was really good & the service as well. Loved the ambience, food & service. The Daal makhani at this place is also awesome, I have ordered it many times through UberEats.
We dined in . We ordered butter chicken, paneer labobdar, malai koffta, butter naan, garlic naan, lasha prantha, with 70 percent spice level. Just salt was less in paneer labobdar & malai paneer. Service was 100 percent perfect from my side, one white girl, she was very polite & humble she treated us well. Thanks 👍🏻
