Wow an experience like no other!
My wife Sophie, our little dog Kayla, & I had a delicious breakfast, & we were all treated like royalty, Kayla included!

went there last sunday & everything was amazing. we were a walk in but we still had place (we came in early in the morning). the drinks were absolutely amazing taste wise & looks wise (my oldest daughter took way too many pictures of them)!! the staff was very nice too. the server (long hair) & the girl at the cash (dark hair) were both super nice & friendly. will recommend for sureView more

A nice spot but the food & service were just okay. Mostly I felt a bit ignored by the staff. Edit: I went back for table service & honestly the experience was incredible. Staff was very responsive & quick. Food (pancakes & grilled cheese & fries) were very very good. Grilled cheese was covered in a syrup, so a little sweet, but still very good & savory! I recommend the golden latte as well!View more

We visited Ruby Café on a Sunday morning to celebrate our Yorkshire Terrier's first birthday, & it was a fantastic experience! The service was excellent, & the brunch menu, priced around $20 per person, was both reasonable & delicious. We treated our pup to a small pupcake, & they even provided a candle, which was a nice touch. The ambiance is lovely, the place is very clean, & it's clear they care about both their human & furry guests. I highly recommend this spot to other dog owners. Plus, with the Lachine Canal just across the street, it's the perfect place to take your dog for a walk after brunch. We'll definitely be back!View more

Starting with the positives: so many options on the menu & the representation is beautiful (picture perfect). Staff are friendly, caring & welcoming, however, due to low # of staff (the restaurant was full & only two servers were there) they couldn't provide a fast service even if they wanted to. Would definitely recommend adding more staff. Also, it was my first time there to celebrate My dog's birthday. I reserved a month in advance & no one called or even recognized that we were there to celebrate a birthday (even though I added in the comments sections that its a special occasion). Will not be going back as it wasn't an enjoyable experience overall.View more

This place is fantastic. There are so many dogs chilling & eating their own food from the menu. Even if you do not own a dog, you can go because everything is better with a dog around you. There is a pool that you can rent by hour & swim with your furry friends. Also the Lachine canal is nearby & you can go for a nice walk after your meal. I truly recommend it. I am sure you will have an enjoyable time.View more

A must stop if you're a dog owner in Montreal! We are from PEI & came here since we wanted to take our sheltie Goose somewhere to eat with us at least once while we were in the city. I did not expect to be blown away by this place! When we arrived, we were directed to our table & our server brought us some water - but not just us humans, they also bring a bowl of water for your dog! I have to say, I was not expecting the food at a dog-focused cafe to be anything special, but the menu items all seemed carefully crafted for a quality cuisine experience. I had a hard time deciding what to get since it all looked good, but I chose the Poche Vege Ratatouille which exceeded my expectations & was super yummy. After we ate, I ordered Goose a pup cake which he gobbled down super quick so I can only assume that was tasty as well. While we were there, he made lots of small doggy friends & had a nap or two under the bench while we ate - the booth we were at had a place to attach your leash onto as well which was great so that we didn't have to worry too much about him wandering at the wrong times. The location is also a dog hotel so we saw several dogs checking in & out of their stay, & in the lobby they also have a bunch of treats, chews, & toys available for purchase. We had a lovely experience & I can't recommend this place enough & I wish we had something similar on PEI! We love taking Goose places with us & it was really nice to feel so welcome at Ruby Cafe MTL. ❤️View more

Fun atmosphere! Great place to bring your dog. I strongly recommend reserving a day or two in advance. I ordered the Sloppy Dog & the smoked salmon bagel. The salmon bagel was excellent. The Sloppy Dog tasted ok, nothing special... Expect to hear some barking while you enjoy your food.View more

Amazing spaces. Very modern & beautiful. I love the pool for the pups (at an extra cost) & the little shop for doggos. A bit expensive but you definitely see the quality. The experience to come brunch with your furry friend & have them socialize is great. Food was excellent & there is a view inside the kitchen which is beautiful. Definitely recommend. Only disappointed about the opening hours, wish they could be open during the week for study sessions with my pup.View more

We were so happy to be able to bring our dog to a restaurant indoors (!!!) & share this fun experience with her. Our food was fresh & delicious, & we brought some doggy food back for our pup too. We would highly recommend Ruby to all dog-lovers & dog-owners!
