INCREDIBLE!!!! Today we went to the doggy cafe for the first time ever & we are converts. Really relaxing atmosphere, happy people & dogs everywhere. The servers are really wonderful & friendly, the fellow visitors are also sooooo nice! The food is amongst the best in the city. Fresh, high quality ingredients & delicious recipes. We didn't think a dog cafe would put this much thought into humans, but wow this food was as good as it gets for us! Our pups were gifted veggie/fruit dog cupcakes (much appreciated by us since our dogs have protein intolerance with animal byproducts) by the servers who were attentive & welcoming. We had an amazing time & to quote mt partner, we'd move to MTL JUST for Ruby Cafe. Absolutely superb, from staff to food to atmosphere. Thank you & cheers to ruby!View more

I had my birthday party here with both of my pomeranians & they were happily welcomed it was really heartwarming to see them being accepted in a restaurant/cafe like this! We will be back regularly ✨

J'ai brunché au Ruby café à plusireurs reprises. Seule, en couple, entres amis, en grand groupe... le problème est toujours le même: le très mauvais service aux tables. Le restos est MAGNIFIQUES, l'ambiance est géniale, plats sont copieux & surtout EXCELLENT mais a chaque visite nous sortons du restaurant avec une frustration. Aujourd'hui noys avont ru un très bel acceuil. On nous a immrdiatement offert a boire & on nous a servit rapidement. On a pris nos commandes dans un délais raisonnable. Toutefois, une fois nos plats sur la table notre serveuse est disparue. Je voulais un café, une amie voulais des confitures, on avait aussi envie de poivre... On a rien eu de ce dont on avait besoin. Personne pour nous servir. Nos plats vides sont resté devant nous plus de 45 minutes...jusqu'à ce qu'on se fâche & qu'on doive se lever pour aller chercher quelqu'un qui a finalent ramasser 2 assiettes mais laissé tout le reste sur la table. Best place to go with your puppy. The atmosphere is amazing & the food is delicious. Loved it so much that I will keep going & will definitely bring friends. The staff is great, they even bring water bowls for the pups. My pup loves the doggie meatballs. Thank you Ruby Cafe. See you soon

Service insuffisant. On a attendu une vingtaine de minutes avant d'avoir de l'eau. Ça a pris presque une heure avant d'avoir notre premier café. L'homme au comptoir & celui qui nous a fait payer ne parlent pas du tout français. La seule & unique serveuse était très sympathique mais a oublié notre demande pour d'autre café. Bref, service très décevant.

Le service était très désorganisé & a pris beaucoup de temps. Je crois qu'il manquait au moins une personne à l'équipe de service qui sont très gentils mais absolument dépassés. Notre serveur semblait en charge de la caisse & était souvent bloqué à recevoir tous les clients. Des gens arrivés bien après nous avaient déjà le bol d'eau de leur chien & leurs breuvages quand nous l'avons demandé pour la deuxième fois, & j'ai dû me lever pour commander quelque chose. L'une de nous a reçu son café après que nos assiettes aient été ramassées. Nous avons dû transférer en anglais pour nous faire comprendre. Il faudrait installer des crochets pour toutes les tables. Nous étions dans une section qui n'en avait pas du tout.

As a tourist with a dog, we found Montreal a bit difficult to navigate trying to find places to eat. We expect outdoor seating. Ruby Cafe is a novel idea. Well thought out. Food & service was great. We would definitely recommend Ruby Cafe for a visit.

We had an amazing brunch at Ruby Cafe with our puppies. The vibe is awesome & the food matched the atmosphere. We had the smiley breakfast, smoked salmon bagel & French sticks & our puppies loved the meatballs & pup cake. Service was also friendly & attentive. There is even a fenced in area to take your dog after to run & play. This is a great concept & we can't wait to return!

L'endroit est très joli & propre, les plats excellents & conséquents, ainsi que les cocktail ! Malheureusement, je ne met que 3 étoiles car le service était quasi inexistant.. Nous avons attendu une vingtaine de minutes à la table avant que quelqu'un ne vienne nous proposer de commander, que j'ai appelé...
La serveuse nous a demandé de tout commander en même (temps raisonnable par contre, environ 10 min pour les boissons & 15 pour les plats) cependant personne n'est revenu jusqu'à ce qu'on parte ni même débarrassé ! J'aurai voulu recommander un cocktail, :), peut-être nous aurions pris des dessert ou café... Mais rien, donc nous avons été payé au comptoir & sommes partis prendre un dessert ailleurs ! Quel dommage !

Had brunch at Ruby Café with my daughter & our 8 yr old Portuguese Water dog. Very pleasant ambiance, clean & nice decor. My meal was delicious (I had ''The Poché'') & my daughter really enjoyed her's too (The Smiley breakfast). & the mokaccino was the yummiest I ever had (very sweet)!. Fun to see all the happy dogs around us & dogs saying hello to each other before sitting at their table... Our Niky had the Woof Meatballs & was very satisfied!
I live on the South shore of Mtl so it was a 35 min drive, but I will be back for sure!!!

We had a wonderful time at Ruby Cafe with our pup! The food was delicious & the restaurant was so aesthetic, spacious, clean, &, of course, dog-friendly! We were so happy to be able to bring our dog to a restaurant indoors (!!!) & share this fun experience with her. Our food was fresh & delicious, & we brought some doggy food back for our pup too. We would highly recommend Ruby to all dog-lovers & dog-owners!

Love the meals & cocktails here, it's been a few times I brought my pup to this café. Great place for pawrents & doggos, clean, respectful workers, great place to socialize the pup & will definitely come back here!
