This is hands down the best pet-friendly restaurant we have ever been to. We like taking our dogs on vacation with us, & seeing them happy (with a plate of meatballs & meatloaf that they gave two non-opposable thumbs up) makes us happy. We came here 2 days in a row on our stay in Montreal & everything was perfect!
Magnifique endroit pour être avec pitou! La présentation & le goût des plats sont superbes! Les prix ont beaucoup de sens, vraiment une belle expérience pour mon chien & moi. Le seul petit petit hic est que le service en français est un peu difficile à avoir..
This was my third time visiting. Food as always was impeccable. Attentive & kind service. The only reason I'm not giving it 5* is that we felt really pushed to leave. After finishing our meal, the staff came to see us 3 times within 10min. Interrupting our conversation every time... to ask us if we wanted anything else & indicated where to pay. The place was empty & far from closing, not sure why we were ushered out ...
Lovely place to bring your pup. Fair prices it's just that some pictures on the online menu don't look like the product. The pup loaf was huge online but they give you only 1 small slice for 6$, that was disappointing but other than that it was good.
Amazing spaces. Very modern & beautiful. I love the pool for the pups (at an extra cost) & the little shop for doggos. A bit expensive but you definitely see the quality. The experience to come brunch with your furry friend & have them socialize is great. Food was excellent & there is a view inside the kitchen which is beautiful. Definitely recommend. Only disappointed about the opening hours, wish they could be open during the week for study sessions with my pup.
We love coming for brunch with our pup! Not only is it fun for us but also for our pup & wish more places would welcome our pups! Food is always delicious & fresh ! Smoothies are delicious & healthy! Thank you!!

INCREDIBLE!!!! Today we went to the doggy cafe for the first time ever & we are converts. Really relaxing atmosphere, happy people & dogs everywhere. The servers are really wonderful & friendly, the fellow visitors are also sooooo nice! The food is amongst the best in the city. Fresh, high quality ingredients & delicious recipes. We didn't think a dog cafe would put this much thought into humans, but wow this food was as good as it gets for us! Our pups were gifted veggie/fruit dog cupcakes (much appreciated by us since our dogs have protein intolerance with animal byproducts) by the servers who were attentive & welcoming. We had an amazing time & to quote mt partner, we'd move to MTL JUST for Ruby Cafe. Absolutely superb, from staff to food to atmosphere. Thank you & cheers to ruby!
I got this breakfast plate with eggs potatoes, sausages, slices of oranges, soft buttered toast & a croissants. For drinks we got a beets & raspberries smoothie as well a tea I forgot what it was called but it was all fantastic. The presentation are so amazing & clean. You don't get a wet dog smell going in, the only whiff that caught my dog's & my attention was the delicious scent of the food. My dog is usually very nervous in new places & around other dogs. She did so well though & calmed down soon after we got our food. Everyone with a dog who were eating there as well were very good about their dogs which made the experience so much easier for my dog to get used to a new environment & the presence of other dogs. I ordered her a turkey loaf & they gave us a cute Christmas treat. She absolutely loved & devoured both. It was truly a fun experience & would do it again. If I had to be nitpicky, I guess service could have been worked on, it did take a while to be served & service was slow which maybe it was because there wasn't enough manpower. Either way, I personally didn't mind it, I had enough to be distracted by with the design & decorations of the place, the menu, & so many cute dogs!
This place will likely turn off some people because it's a very pet friendly place. Don't be fooled !! The food was amazing. Good portion sizes, very complimentary sauces & accompagnements. Particularly enjoy the Le Berger grilled cheese & the two toast plate with cheese & fresh fruits. Such a great find.
The biggest upset is that I left & I was still hungry. I would also like the menu to clearly identify vegetarian options, as it is not great to have to read detailed description to find out if there is meat or not. Given the overall price, I find the service a little too laid back.
