These guys have got it down to a science. Get the Tony Supremo it's everything you want in a sandwich. The spiced fries are also great!View more
It's take away, but oh my the food is just incredible. Definitely best Portuguese chicken in town.
Their spicy/hot sauce has this freshness that is just incredible. If you're ordering chicken go non-spicy & get the hot sauce (unless you're a die-hard spice lover)
The chicken is juicy & charred & well seasoned. The fries are great, the salad is awesome, the rice is good. So happy with my meal. Will be my go to place.View more
Good chicken but slow service & don't tell you the time to wait.
I waited 1h25 min for chicken & fries.
Quite disorganized, I saw several people ordering after the same & got theirs faster... Anyways mixed feelings.View more
First time there. What was I missing all the time moving back to Montreal? This is the best Portuguese restaurant in Canada so far for me. I loved it. It's as good as anything that I ate in Brazil. Rio de Janeiro.
The owner was so friendly. We tried the large family $59 feast for 3-4 people, a whole chicken, french fries, salad, ribs, rice.
It was amazing. My new favorite restaurant in Montreal. I will definitely be going back many times.View more
I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of our meal. We ordered Tony Supremo, Montreal Steak & Half chicken with fries & salad.
Everything we ate was not only delicious & flavourful, but portion was HUGE! It's super rare to find places that sells quality meals but doesn't lack in quantity. This place is an absolute gem!
Currently they have limited seats, but I think they are in the process of setting up dine in tables.View more
Such a fantastic corner shop that makes the neighborhood feel more human & alive! We had the Tony Supremo made by Tony himself. One sandwich is good enough for two to share. People at the other table outside gave us their extra insanely tasty fries. Tony also gave us spicy mayo & water bottles on the house. Would definitely come back!View more
Amazing Portuguese chicken. Portions are very filling, you won't go hungry. Got the chicken breast plate. Salad, fries, chicken - everything thing was delicious. Things were a bit hectic & we waited a bit longer than expected, but worth it.View more
Amazing, real friendly, great char on the chicken, great gravy on the poutine, fries are amazing, football on the telly. 10 starsView more
Delicious takeout chicken & delicious fries. Perfect piri piri sauce. 10/10View more
Visited from NYC & their peri peri chicken sandwich was the best food I had in Montreal! Also had these loaded fries which were also crazy.View more
the chicken is good but the fries are an ultimate insult to fries. although I've never eaten fries I did not like these are awful. They most probably freeze their uneaten fries & reheat them. Warming them does not help^. so avoid the friesView more
Good chicken joints seemingly come & go in Montreal. Portugalia has been a long time favourite. Good quality birds & the charcoal grill is just perfect. Steak spice on the fries just works.View more
Best chicken spot in montreal never disappoints & the fries are great. The staff is also top notchView more
Excellent friendly service & really delicious food. The chicken was juicy & fresh with nice spices, crispy fresh fries.View more
Let me tell everyone if you haven’t been here yet you haven’t been at the best chicken restaurant in Montreal. The chicken sandwich is absolutely out of this world. The fries are fried fresh per order. 100% I will be back. The best hands Down chicken sandwich I’ve ever had.View more
Long overdue review. Great Portuguese resto. Small restaurant, so it is a pick up only joint. Bought the family chicken combo plate that came with fries & salad. The chicken was flavorful, tender & & just plain delicious. Couldn’t go wrong with homemade fries & a nice big salad with a light & tasty dressing. Their hot sauce is phenomenal. The price was reasonable for a family combo. We were two, & had lots of leftovers.
A must for take out & the staff are friendly & amazing. Parking might be a little of a hassle when picking up.View more
Best roasted chicken in the land. Also the fries really slapView more
Been waiting a while to write this review because I didn't know what sort of handicap to give my experience - we got the food for take-out, but it took an hour to get to us, & obviously the quality can be affected.
The fries - are a disaster, mealy, limp, & they don't re-heat well. The chorizo was nice, popping skin, fatty, & tasty, though they were quite dry. The chicken was quite good, though I felt it was a massive failure that their 'spicy' version was just caking the chicken in red pepper flake. What made this even worse is that the Pirri Pirri sauce that came on the side was phenomenal. THAT should be the spice. I do feel I might owe this place an in-person visit, to taste the food live, but the first impressions were not that great.View more
The worst Portuguese restaurant in Montreal. We waited 15 minutes at our table before the waiter came to ask us what we wanted, & then, waited one more hour to get our food. The chicken leg was as small as a chicken wing, the fries were frozen fries, & the rice was...well....tasted like rice but nothing more.
I DO NOT RECOMMANDE AT ALL.
