Had an amazing experience at this Montreal gem! Ayush greeted us warmly at the door, & once inside, Oliento & Alex took care of us with top-notch service. The cocktails were fantastic-creative, balanced, & beautifully crafted. The ambiance was perfect, with stunning views & a lively yet relaxed vibe. Highly recommend this spot for great drinks, excellent service, & an unforgettable atmosphere!

Best terrasse in Montreal! Killer sunset views, cool vibe, great cocktails - the Hugo was actually worth it (for once). Shoutout to Roxanne for the amazing service!

We just moved to montréal & we absolutely loved the vibe even if there's no food yet, on a été bien accueillis (l'hôtesse est très sympathique elle a su faire la conversation pendant qu'on attendait d'être installés) & bien servis (un grand merci à Andrew 🙏) le tout en profitant du magnifique coucher de soleil avec de bons cocktails. On reviendra pour la nourriture!

Une super expérience! Les cocktails étaient originaux & parfaitement réalisés. Un grand merci à notre serveuse Aya, qui a été absolument formidable : très souriante, attentionnée & vraiment aux petits soins tout au long de la soirée. Je recommande vivement cet endroit, surtout pour passer un bon moment entre amis dans une ambiance chaleureuse !

Bar ayant remplacé Les Enfants Terribles en haut du bâtiment. La vue est donc incroyable mais c'est bien la seule raison d'y aller.. Déjà quand dans un bar, on vous sert des cocktails à 18$ (sans taxes ni pourboire) dans un verre en plastique c'est mauvais signe. Encore plus quand le dit cocktail n'est même pas bon & noyé dans les glaçons. Inacceptable. Le service était bien quoiqu'un peu long mais tous les employés étaient sympathiques. On s'attend clairement à une meilleure expérience pour le prix & le cadre! C'est dommage...

Super rooftop pour voir le coucher de soleil si vous avez la chance d'avoir une table en bordure de terrasse. Bons cocktails mais un peu chers. Réservation conseillée !

Rose Orange made me feel like I was right back in Toronto - not all for good reasons though. First off, as others have noted, making reservations here is a major pain. There is no contact number whatsoever, so you can't make modifications. Overall the reservations don't seem to be effectively managed at all. I showed up for my reservation & the hostess made me wait for several minutes while assisting others. I reserved a table & she tried to put us at the bar - I pointed out that's not what I reserved. It seemed like she was trying to work out a table for us on the spot when it was supposed to be a reservation, & she wasn't apologetic about this at all. The prices are cutthroat, & for no reason as others have said the cocktails are nothing impressive. Better to just go for mixed drinks although a simple tequila soda will still ring you about $18-20 with tip. The bartender that served me at the further bar towards the edge was the only person who displayed good service. The space allows you to mingle to a degree, but the crowd is on the pretentious side so not as much mixing here as you would find at pub or bar. There is a DJ area but not much dancing going on. My motus towards this place is to just order a drink or two & enjoy the views, get a few pics/clips & never come back.

Bar sympa. Belle vue. Carte de cocktails intéressante mais un peu dispendieuse (mais prix de downtown). Côté bouffe, choix un peu limité mais la burtata est très bonne. Musique un peu trop forte. Service agréable.

Décor magnifique. Vue imprenable. Mais on sent tout de même qu'on est à ses débuts. Le service était sympathique mais peu présent, un peu lent même. & c'est moyennement acceptable de se faire servir son cocktail à 20 $... dans un verre en plastique. De plus, les appareils dans les salles de bain (savons automatisés, dispenseur de papier à mains, écran publicitaires) très fonctions à l'époque des Enfants Terribles l'étaient moins. On sent qu'on a quelque peu remplacé un ancien établissement sans entièrement avoir investi pour s'approprier les lieux à fond. En souhaitant à ce lieu magnifique de gagner en raffinement comme il le mérite; le potentiel y est vraiment. Bon succès pour la suite!

Très belle vue & ambiance sur la terrasse mais c'est leur seul point positif. Service long & froid de la part du staff. Nourriture & cocktail coûteux mais pas très bon... Je déconseille malheureusement.

I'm only giving 2 stars because of the view & the music. The view is truly this place's selling point. However, getting up there was really difficult. We had to go a floor up & ask someone to scan their chip in the elevator to access the terrace. I visited on a Thursday. The crowd was nice, basically the same type of people you'd expect to see at Cathcart before 7 PM (no kids). The service was terrible. Our waitress was incompetent. We were the first to arrive, & no one bothered to take our order. I had to flag down a random employee to order drinks, which were served in plastic cups. They didn't even get the drinks right. We ordered 3 vodka martinis-1 dirty & 2 extra dirty. We received 3 extra dirty vodka martinis but I kept the drink anyway. The waitress would have known if she was there to take our order in the first place. 1 vodka martini = 18$ Their cocktail menu is lacking options & originality. The quantity of liquid in each drink was different, with one friend having noticeably less alcohol. I also had to flag down a random employee to order food as our waitress disappeared again. We all shared a burrata, which was outrageously priced at $27 for a very small portion. The bread that came with the burrata was not fresh & was hard to chew. The food menu consists of 5 options, but we were told they also serve sushi from upstairs. The sushi prices are literally Jatoba prices-about $40 for 7 pieces. If you want your establishment to be upscale, don't serve drinks in plastic cups. The DJ was fun & played really nice techno vibey music. There are couches & tables, & I suggest making a reservation for easier access. You can definitely order bottles, but they're not cheap. Overall, my experience was mediocre, although I had fun with my friends. I would most likely not return.

What a beautiful terrace with breathtaking views & ambiance. Comfy sofas, unique cocktails & great service, very classy place with a nice clientele & great music we recommend for sure !

I added photos for steps to get to the rooftop bar from the rez-de-chaussée lobby, because I got lost a few times trying to navigate the Place-Ville-Marie elevator & upper floor restaurants (you're welcome!). As for the actual review: I thought the staff was lovely, very nice & welcoming. I loved my cocktail, it was very good. The food was so-so like other reviews said, so I wouldn't come here for food, but definitely cocktails. Great place for before or after dinner if you're looking for drinks with an incredible view of the city!

J'ai vraiment apprécié le lieu & l'atmosphère, le service est aussi impeccable. Cependant la carte est particulièrement dispendieuse mais aussi très maigre (aucun cocktail classique).

You'd expect a better cocktail list for a lounge. Gorgeous sunset but atmosphere was lacking, maybe because the music wasn't loud enough. Service was as expected for a busy terrace.

Do not come here. We made a reservation for Saturday evening, we arrived around 715. The service is super bad, people act like they are offended that u asked them for something & they take a while to reach your table for drinks. They forget to even give u menus & when u ask for them, they forget u asked for them. They have barely any food on the menu, plus they run out of the drinks. Prices are on the high end of high end for cocktails & are not even good. Nacarat has better prices & quality. The only positives are the music & the views. Around 8-9 the server came over asking us to pay our bills when some of us have just arrived & ask for the first drink. They told us that its going to rain & that they were closing because of that. We couldnt cancel the drinks we recently ordered & they didnt accomodate us inside.

I had to take the time to write this review. The ambiance, the service, the cocktails & wine selection, the spectacular views, the music Just perfect !!! Rose Orange..... Was a great bar terrasse experience, beer, cocktail, a few very well selected fine wines, appetizers, great music, heated terrasse with huge views of all Montreal in a good vibe atmosphere then 2nd stop Sora .... Exceptional interior amazing views all glass bar/restaurant with an original way to serve sushi, selected Sakes, cocktails & wines, again with surrounded fantastic views & great service mmmmm....Delicious, spicy & fresh!! Then to end the night Hiatus, you still have amazing views anywhere you sit ! HIATUS (means PAUSE in Latin, I asked) Fine cuisine with the perfect sides, wine selection, exceptional service, simply amazing ! WHAT A SURPRISING & EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE ! These 3 bar/restaurants really won us over. Great concept...We will return!

Belle expérience au Rose Orange! Les cocktails sont délicieux & notre serveuse fut très agréable. Notre commande a été prise rapidement & nos cocktails sont arrivés sans trop attendre. Le service fut continu & nous n'avons manqué de rien toute la soirée. Très belle ambiance également. J'y retournerai pour goûter les plats!
