Très grande déception
Le restaurant le Rok fut très décevant pour nous. Nous avions malheureusement de trop hautes attentes au regard du prix assez élevé des assiettes. Le service a été bon, mais pas extraordinaire. L'entrée de crabcake était bonne, mais rien de wow. Le pain servi était chaud, probablement le meilleur élément du repas. Les légumes d'accompagnement du plat principal semblaient avoir passé des heures à attendre avant d'être servis. Les pommes de terre étaient molles & les autres légumes étaient extrêmement salés. Nous pensons que plusieurs légumes présentés étaient des légumes congelés... La sauce qui accompagnait le supposé filet mignon était dégoulinante de gras. Il manquait littéralement d'amour dans nos assiettes... Les desserts étaient bons & beaux.
Bien que le concept soit intéressant, la cuisson sur pierre n'est pas optimale. Aussi, le décor du restaurant est à revoir, car très vieillot.
Magnifique expérience! Nous avons adoré chaque service, que ce soit le crab cake, le filet mignon, les crevettes ou pétoncles géantes, tout était succulent!
Excellent service. Concept avec la pierre chaude intéressant. Les choix d'entrées semblaient tous délicieux, nous avons opté avec le crab cake (portion généreuse pour une entrée) & salade canard fumé. Sur la pierre, steak ROK & thon Albacore. Le thon cuit peut-être un peut trop rapidement sur la pierre, par contre, j'ai pu le placer sur le côté pour ralentir la cuisson. Nous aurions apprécié un choix de sauce d'accompagnement au lieu de celui par défaut.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, the service was excellent, they made sure our experience was flawless, & the food was beyond incredible! We will certainly be back.
