The Reuben is tasty too, with delicious meat, though they oddly lack customer knives. ? Unique smash burgers, like the Royale with added smoked meat, are enjoyable & add a fun twist. ? Poutine is surprisingly good, decked in gravy & extra meat. ? Staff are super friendly & the vibe is lively with good tunes, but fries are just meh & prices can feel high ($25-40 for a sandwich). ? If you're not French-speaking, minor communication hiccups might occur. Overall, great spot for halal eats in downtown - try the signature sauce! 4/5 stars.

Rockin' experience at Rock'n Deli! Got a great recommendation from our former computer instructor at the Apple Store, who also happens to be visually impaired. We weren't disappointed! The staff were super friendly, the tunes were vibing, & the food was excellent. If you're comparing it to Nickels Deli, I'd say this one takes the cake! Definitely coming back for more.
We ordered the smoked meat sandwiches & the club smoked meat trio. The club has way less meat than the regular sandwich. I replaced the potato with sweet potato fries, definitely worth it.
Overall good experience, though it doesn't quite stand out compared to the best smoked meat spots. So definitely room for improvement.
The burger was soaked in sauce. No flavor of meat whatsoever. The brioche, the lettuce, the tomatoes all were drained in the sauce. I had to wipe with tissue to be able to eat.
The French fries were good.
We came all the way from Toronto & our expectations were definitely met! The customer service here is outstanding - the cashier & the whole team were so friendly & welcoming. Our food was served hot & fresh, & I finally got to try the Reuben sandwich for the first time - it was absolutely delicious! The restaurant is clean & spacious, making it a great spot for groups as well. We'll definitely be recommending this place to our friends back in Toronto.
This place was amazing! I'm not the biggest meat eater but the club sandwich was excellent the fries were delicious. The service was SPECTACULAR! Loved it 10/10
We ordered the Smokey Burger, Philly Steak, & Burger Royale - & wow, the flavors were spot on. The meat was incredibly tender & juicy, without being overly fatty or greasy, which is often hard to find with smoked meats.
The service was just as impressive as the food. A big shoutout to Kevin, who welcomed us with two cold bottles of water on a hot day & helped us choose the best items from the menu. His friendly attitude & helpful suggestions made the visit even more enjoyable.
We didn't get a chance to take any photos - the food disappeared fast! 😬
This place is a must-try, especially for anyone new to smoked meats. Highly recommend, & we'll definitely be coming back again (& again).

My family & I visited Montreal just last week & we visited this amazing smoked meat deli that was right around the corner from our Air BnB. I don't usually take the time to leave too many reviews after trips, but this place deserved it. The sandwiches were amazing (& huge btw), even the kids devoured their entire sandwhiches. The fries was great as well & they might just be the most hospitable staff in Montreal. Super Super Nice. A+ experience. Thank you!
