I visited this lovely café with my friends Nima & Layla, & we had such a great time! The atmosphere was cozy, relaxed, & perfect for catching up. There's plenty of seating, & the vibe makes you want to stay & enjoy your desserts without feeling rushed 😊.
We ordered a few different cheesecakes to try:
🥧 Boston Cream Cheesecake (with an Americano) - This one was mine, & honestly… WOW. 10/10 ⭐
It was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, & incredibly smooth. The texture was creamy & light, & the flavor was just amazing. Definitely the best one we tried - I would go back just for this!
🌰🍫 Hazelnut Chocolate Cheesecake - 8/10
This one was rich & delicious with a great chocolate flavor. It was slightly sweeter than I personally prefer, but still very enjoyable.
🍪 Oreo Cheesecake (with an iced latte) - 7/10
It had a nice cookies-&-cream flavor & was well made, but it was quite sweet. I couldn't finish a full slice - just a small piece was enough for me.
☕ Americano Review - 5/10
The aroma was actually good, but the aftertaste was disappointing - maybe a 2/10 for the finish. With desserts this sweet, I would recommend using a stronger bean like Robusta or a bold Ethiopian roast to balance the flavors better. I've definitely had better Americanos elsewhere.
Overall, the cheesecakes were the real stars of the night ⭐🍰. If you go, the Boston Cream Cheesecake is a must-try! Absolutely the highlight of our visit.

To top it all off - clean washrooms 🚻, great parking 🚗, friendly staff, & a relaxed atmosphere. Everything about this place makes you want to come back again.

Rockaberry in Griffintown is amazing! Their pies are tall, rich, & full of flavour. Perfect for birthdays or any special treat. I always grab a slice (or sometimes a whole pie, its worth it if you want to splurge) for me & my friend's birthdays, & it never disappoints. The apple crumble cheesecake pie is one of my favourites! It's stacked up high, with lots of sweet apple & cheesecake filling. I also love the key lime pie, super tart & very strong lime flavour. It can be a little pricey, but totally worth it for how big & delicious the slices are. Definitely will be back soon! 🥧🍰🥧
Strawberry shortcake is my absolute favorite - the perfect balance of sweet, fresh strawberries, fluffy whipped cream, & soft cake. Hands down, the best dessert ever!
Oreo cheese was just terrible. Waaaaaay too much cream, too salty, too sweet, the oreo at the bottom was too hard.
Triple chocolate was just amazing, so I have mixed feelings.
The staff was super nice & friendly.
It's the second time I went there. The cheesecakes are delicious but if you are looking for a lime pie, that's not the place. It has a strong tastes & smell of cinnamon & nothing of lime.

I had a wonderful experience here! The young girl serving us was very sweet & provided excellent service. She even went the extra mile to ask if we wanted ice cream with our desserts, which was a pleasant surprise as not all locations offer this option. The desserts were delicious, & the atmosphere was warm & inviting. Highly recommend this location!
I did the mistake of ordering their chicken parm. Easily the worst I've had in a restaurant. But we don't come to this place for Italian food, we come for desserts. I was pretty underwhelmed by the strawberry shortcake It was just alright. The milkshakes are big but overly sweet. Service was minimal. The waitress had 0 enthusiasm. I still gave a good tip since I work in the industry but I won't be coming back.
I coincidentally visited this restaurant today & I do not understand why anyone would give anything but 5 stars to this place. The service was beyond special & accommodating. The atmosphere was calm & comfortable to just enjoy being present. The food was delicious. The avocado toast felt fresh & the patates wow. The dessert was incredible & very flavorful without feeling overly sweet. Definitely will come back.
I usually do a bit more research when I'm traveling to avoid food disappointments, but I'm so glad I took a chance on this spot after a quick Google search near where we had dinner. I'm beyond happy I stumbled upon it! I'd read a few reviews saying it had the "best cheesecake ever," & honestly, I didn't believe them at first-but now I totally get it. This cheesecake was hands down one of the best I've ever had. The portion was massive, & the flavors were absolutely incredible. They had so many tempting options, it was hard to choose just one! I do wish they had a "pie flight" so I could sample a few different slices (because it was that good). On top of the amazing desserts, the service was fantastic! Our server was so friendly & attentive-she really added to the overall experience. Honestly, I'd drive from Ottawa just for this dessert, & I'd bring some home too! Highly recommend-this place is a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth!

I recently visited Rockaberry in Montreal's Griffintown, & I must say, the experience was delightful. The strawberry & chocolate pies were outstanding-easily some of the best I've ever tasted. The place itself has a warm & cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing & enjoying a sweet treat. While the ambiance was inviting, it did seem that there were not enough staff to manage the tables during the time I visited, which slightly affected the service speed. However, as you can see from the photos, my friend also thoroughly enjoyed the visit. I would definitely recommend Rockaberry to anyone looking for a great dessert spot in the city.
First time at Rockaberry & it was delightful! Definitely need to go back soon! Service was a little slow, but friendly & polite. A charming spot to satisfy a sweet tooth. I had the raspberry fudge cheesecake & my bf had the oreo cheesecake, both were amazing!
I tried bananalicious & rockabrownie pies. They were amazing! Would definitely recommend. The biggest disappointment was the service. We only ordered pies, hot chocolate & a milkshake. But, we had to wait longer than usual to get seated (even when there were many vacant seats) & we noticed our order waiting at the counter for too long. Also, the hot chocolate was a little too sweet for me.
Maybe i made a bad choice. But brownie with the chocolate mousse cake was not good. Way too sweet, wet brownie bottom & the little bit of whipped cream tasted stale. Staff was great though.
