Rockaberry est largement salué pour sa vaste sélection de desserts, les tartes et cheesecakes étant souvent les points forts, du Boston Cream Cheesecake parfaitement équilibré à l Apple Crumble Cheesecake et à la Key Lime Pie bien acidulée, ainsi que des créations chocolatées et Oreo riches; l'atmosphère cosy et détendue, le personnel sympathique, les options de desserts végétariens, ainsi qu'un bon café et même des plats savoureux, en font un endroit accueillant pour discuter entre amis ou célébrer des occasions spéciales, bien que certaines expériences évoquent un service inégal et parfois peu attentif, et des prix parfois élevés pour des portions généreuses.
All my friends & I have always adored Rockaberry, & their cakes have been a staple at our celebrations for years. Last week, I decided to try their actual food for the first time. Since I have a service dog (but try to be mindful of spaces that might not be dog-friendly) I called ahead to ask if he could join me on the terrace. The employee on the phone told me dogs weren't allowed (which is totally fine), but then added,'There is a tree right outside the terrace where you can tie your dog.' 🌲🙄
I decided to go alone anyway out of respect for their policy. But as soon as I arrived, I saw a pretty large dog sitting right on the terrace with a little water bowl next to him. When I asked the waitress, she claimed a new employee had let them in & it was'too late' to ask them to leave (or to tie their dogs out on the tree 🥸). We accepted the excuse, sat down, & the food was actually quite good (the only reason I'm giving 2 stars).
The real kicker? Just a few days later, a friend of mine passed by (without a dog) & asked the staff the exact same question in person, & they told him dogs ARE allowed. 😑
It seems like your staff is willing to enforce a strict'no dog' rule over the phone, but lacks the spine to enforce it in person when people just show up. The lack of consistency & communication here is incredibly frustrating & left a sour taste in my mouth. The food was good, which earns the 2 stars, but the double standards drastically need fixing. Please get your rules straight! 👍
I usually come here for a late night coffee when most other shops are already closed! But The pies & cakes here are also incredibly good I totally recommend passing by. The decor gives off really cozy, oldies vibes which makes for a nice atmosphere. The menu is big & the service is always super friendly!

We went for dessert on a quiet Sunday evening & were happy with the service. It was friendly & very quick. Unfortunately, the dessert I ordered was out of stock, but my second choice was delicious (carrot cake). The lighting was dim, & the place was quiet but lively. We will definitely go again & try to order the mocha dessert I wanted :)
We came to travel from Calgary. We wanted dessert. We came with the advice of our cousins. First of all, the employees are very polite & patient. We don't know most products because we are newcomers. We tried to examine & understand the products one by one. They waited for us to order without disturbing us. Thank you for your understanding. Their desserts were very delicious. Mochamisu has become my favorite. I highly recommend it.
Their toilets were also clean & well maintained.
We went there to have a small birthday inside the cafe, the staff told us you can not have the whole cake & eat it inside ! Because in the cafe, we only serve cakes in pieces! The reason was the difference of the price nearly doubled if we wanted to eat inside the same cake!
The whole cake was 39$ for buying but if we wanted to eat the same cake ( 6 pieces) it was 79$!!!!!! Why ? Im so sorry but this is not ethical & appropriate.
It's my favorite spot for a creamy & crumbly dessert! One of my favourites is blueberry crumb cheese, I took it with a Moka, perfect combination! Service is good, the girls are nice!

Nice & tasty pies, but our server did not smile AT ALL, in fact it looked like she was about to cry or had already cried. Quite unpleasant, but at least the food was good. Nice interior decor as well.
