But The pies & cakes here are also incredibly good I totally recommend passing by. The decor gives off really cozy, oldies vibes which makes for a nice atmosphere. The menu is big & the service is always super friendly!
Came in on a cold winter day & was greeted with hot coffee & soup & great chicken sandwiches. Highly recommend, taking pie back to hotel.
2 out of 3 coffee we got tasted like cardboard. We got the espresso, cappuccino latte lait d'amande. The salted caramel one was ok.
I love coming here for two simple reasons:
1) The quality of the cakes are always consistent & filling.
2) It's a great place to sit & hang out if you're in the mood to go out a bit later at night but in a'coffee shop' setting. A sweet go-to!
This was the first time I had coffee & cake at Rockaberry. I would revisit Canada only for having a piece of cake at this place again. Delicious! & very nice service.
Service is good, coffee is good, pie is medium I tried the one with apple & cream, I expected more fruits & less sugar, there was a lot of cream & not enough fruits... A little bit disappointed May be i should try a classic one... Don't sit next to the window in the winter it's cold
Decent place for coffee & pie. We have had pleasant experience every time we come here. Though the price for a piece of pie has gone up quite a lot the past 3 years (it's now 10$ or more for a piece of pie plus tax & tips? Come on!), nonetheless it's a decent place for coffee in the area of Griffintown
***Read till the end*** It's not my first time at this location but let me tell you my quick story. I ordered the 4 cheese pasta dish at dinner time & I was quite shocked by what was served. Literally 3 pastas that are not much bigger than an Oreo cookie. So be careful of this menu item. I'm not in a position to discuss the quality vs the price but for a coffee shop/diner type of restaurant I was expecting much more for 25$. Anyways, I brought my concern to my server, she took back my plate & I was able to choose something else. So as far as I'm concerned I was really well taken care of. The pies were as usual very very good. dessert portions were generous & coffee on point. So for this I still think that it's deserving of a 4 stars.
