To be fair, I did go there for food instead of their esteemed pies & cakes. However, I wasn't a fan of the dark bar atmosphere, & the food wasn't too impressive. I do want to give it another try another time, but as for right now, I don't see myself coming back anytime soon.
This pastry shop is really great. The staff was very polite & kind. They genuinely wanted to make sure we had the a great time at their establishment. The pies/cake were so good. They have a wide variety of options to choose from & they are fairly priced. I recommend seating outside on the patio if you can. It's just a nice space.
The pie here is nothing short of A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ! New favourite spot! Will definitely come back 😃
Chocolate Banana Cream pie is MAGICAL! It's not too sweet, light & has really banana pieces in it. Whoa!
Good not great. Most pies are delicious, but the millefeuille for example is incredibly underwhelming & probably doesn't need to be a regular menu item. Overall, I liked the pie a lot, especially the key lime. The price is astronomical but I'm glad I tried it out. The staff were awesome!
After a day of walking about Montreal & eating copious amounts of food throughout the day I wanted to do some desserts later in the afternoon. Not a full meal, just something to carry me through the evening. This place was a close walk to Old Montreal & came up on the search results. A great smaller place with a patio. I ate inside & had a great conversation with with our server. English is definitely NOT a problem for travellers to the area that struggle with ordering in French. I had the Keylime pie & my wife had the Apple Crumble Pie & an Americano, The food was great, the service was quick, the place was clean, & definitely NOT crazy expensive, A great place for a snack or stop for slowly having a coffee & dessert.
Pretty small portion for a 10$ cake Such a big box for a small piece
At this location, the shop is very cold, the quality of the pies are not as good as their other locations, & the waitress was very unfriendly.
The pies are really good, but they taste like they were made from canned ingredients, put together on an assembly line
Come for the pies, & get it for takeout. We always reorder Apple Crumb cheese. We also like the Oreo cheesecake, Raspberry Fudge or the Caramel fudge cheese. The only Rockaberry spot in the area, therefore, it can get pretty busy. Service is very detached & rushed. Not friendly, not the best around. The food itself is very salty, the coffee cocktails are decent but I would not order again. Ambiance is average.
I've been serveral times here with my friends either to dine in or just do a quick take out. We love all the pies, lunch combos & the milshakes from here. It's a perfect. Most of the times the staff is really friendly but this last time, the waiter wasn't really great. I waited for my bill quite a bit (the place was almost empty, btw). Then, I needed to go to the counter to ask for it because he was just chatting with somebody (not even looking at our table). At the end he was like "wait at your table I'll bring it there" when I was literally already standing at the cash machine. Anyway we ended up waiting for another bit for him just to put the machine at the table next to us. Kinda rude. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else.
It was a great experience to be served by the very friendly staff, a delicious blueberry cheese crumble & a rockabrownie pie. Definitely recommended.
Perfect spot to celebrate 🍾 your friends birthday. Take a tequila shot & enjoy a big piece of cake... That's a way to celebrate. The ambiance of the cafe was great. Our group ordered a shot of Tequilla with blueberry & apple crumble cheesecake. The cake was super delicious & big in portion. Must go. 🙂🙂
This place slapppsss. Honestly. The bananalicious pie is so good. The pies are actually cakes in a pie tin.
Everything I’ve had here is amazing. I brought it back to Toronto once & a friend with very high standards called it a “10/10 food”.
It’s awesome.
Sweet Delights at Rockaberry!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Rockaberry is a hidden gem for dessert lovers! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked treats. The quaint atmosphere & cozy seating make it the perfect spot for a sweet escape.
The menu boasts an impressive variety of desserts, each more tempting than the last. Their signature pies are a true standout. The crust is flaky perfection, & the fillings burst with flavor. I couldn't resist trying the classic apple pie & was blown away by its deliciousness.
The staff at Rockaberry is friendly & knowledgeable, always ready to recommend a dessert that suits your taste buds. The service was prompt, & my order arrived at the table with a beautiful presentation.
What sets Rockaberry apart is their dedication to using high-quality, fresh ingredients. You can taste the difference in every bite. Whether you have a penchant for pies, cakes, or tarts, Rockaberry has something to satisfy every sweet tooth.
Additionally, their beverage selection complements the desserts perfectly. I highly recommend pairing your treat with a cup of their aromatic coffee or a soothing herbal tea.
The only downside is the limited seating, so it's advisable to arrive early, especially during peak hours. But trust me, the experience is worth every moment spent waiting.
In conclusion, Rockaberry is a dessert haven that delivers on taste, quality, & atmosphere. It's become my go-to spot for indulging in sweet cravings. I can't wait to return & try more of their delectable offerings. Don't miss out on this delightful slice of heaven!
Happy indulging!
THIS IS ALI NOOR & THIS IS MY REVIEW
What can I say ? Their sweet pies are delicious & looks exactly like on their website.
I'll be honest you don't go there for the savoury food but for the desserts. So many choices & flavors & so tasty.
I loved the hazelnut chocolate pie, just the right amount of chocolate & Nutella.
