Reviews of Rockaberry Express describe an express pickup counter with no seating where the space is clean, service is fast and friendly, and the pies and desserts are consistently praised for quality and value. The menu items frequently mentioned include strawberry shortcake, mille feuille, lemon pie, blueberry pie, and a cheesecake that many reviewers tout as exceptional, with textures described as light and airy and fillings very creamy. Pricing is noted as sometimes high and some visitors suggest that a per slice price including tax or an online membership could improve value, but for many the option to grab a full pie to take home is a strong plus. Staff are repeatedly described as nice, efficient, and bilingual, and the location is seen as convenient for quick takeout. Some reviews critique certain cakes for overly sweet icing or plain presentation, but the overall sentiment remains that the pies are hard to beat and that the brand maintains strong consistency across locations. To ensure availability, several reviewers recommend pre ordering, and there is broad praise for the vibe and for the reliability of dessert quality, especially the cheesecake and the strawberry shortcake.
This is an express pick-up counter. There are no tables. Everything is clean, service is fast & friendly, products are exceptional & reasonably priced for the quality. I highly recommend.

You have to try the Best Cheesecake in town! It's incredibly delicious-I even spread it on my breakfast toast. Yummy 😋🤤😋!
However, if the price were $10 per slice (tax included), we would buy it every week. I can see that an online membership program would be beneficial for the business.
Conveniently located & perfect for an express location to bring a full pie home! Service was great & staff spoke fluent English which is surprisingly not always the case through touristy spots in Québec which was a great plus! I'm sure the pie will be delicious as usual
Tried the brownie cake for my birthday. The icing is incredibly way too much, not nearly enough cake. Will never buy it again. Did not mind paying more for a fancy cake. These are not cheap cakes, but what a rip off. I wanted a cake… not icing.
See photo with the remaining icing. I can put the rest on a WHOLE other cake. I'm so pissed.
I had an event in which I needed a really good cake, so I selected this place solely based on the review score of 4.5 out of 5. Getting to the place, it's a pretty small hole-in-the-wall shop, & the cake prices were pretty high at $40+tax for a medium cake.
But sure , I needed something good & with this price & the high score, I couldn't go wrong.. right? Well..... Let's just say I'm still scratching my head, trying to understand either the $40 or the 4.5!
First of all, the cake doesn't really look that good. For this price, you expect something that not only tastes amazing but also bewilder the eyes. But the red velvet I bought just looked like a white round heap with some sprinkles on top of an aluminum tray. Extremely simple. But hey, looks are deceptive. Maybe in its simplicity, something really authentic & genuine is hidden. My impression was the opposite. The cake part wasn't bad but wasn't $40 good either. The filling was pretty meh also! But the worst was the icing, like you were chewing pure sugar. Like a cheap kids' birthday cake. Very artificial. Maybe that's the Canadian taste? I don't know. I say this because the icing also reminded me of the snack cakes you can buy at depanneurs, like jos louis & others, that canadians love, & to me, taste terrible. Very artificial. So, maybe all the other reviews are not wrong. Maybe it's just not for me. To me, this is a cheap $15 kids birthday cake you'd buy at a supermarket because you are out of time. Not an expensive premium $40 adult cake.
On the plus side, the staff was VERY friendly, & the black cardboard box the cake comes in is pretty cool.
Rockaberry always has amazing pies! This one is a smaller location from the main location, but the atmosphere is still the same with their fantastic staff
