Went there both in July 2023 & September 2024, & so I sat outside & inside. Great vibe either way, the terrace was very comfortable & the tables weren't stuck to one another at all, but roomy. The inside is also very nice & cozy. The service & food was great, & the presentation of the food too. The staff knew a lot about each item on the menu as well as the cocktails. They had a dessert in September 2024 which looked just like a peach, & was made with real peaches, but to my surprise, it was a pastry, which was the coolest thing ever.

Fellas, this place is amazing. The pizza was some of the best I've ever had, & I cannot say enough good things about the service. I truly felt like I was eating at an upscale restaurant.
I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant. The food is always delicious, perfect amount of options, & I love the seasonal ingredients. The staff is professional, attentive & friendly. The ambience is perfect, it's cozy, not too loud, & you're well taken care of. Well done & way to set the bar for all other wannabe nice restaurants, they can only hope to be as good as you guys. This restaurant was introduced by my Italian friend. The tastes is local. It's fresh pasta. The restaurant was pretty packed, but fortunately we were able to get a reservation one hour after we came. (Came about 8, got a table about 9:30). (Ps. They don't have tiramisu.)

Rita in Verdun has been one of our go-to spots for the last 5 years, & it's been amazing every single time. It's hard to find a place that not only meets but constantly goes beyond your expectations, & Rita nails it. The staff, many of whom have been there for years, really care about giving you the best experience possible. You can feel their passion, & it makes the whole vibe super warm & welcoming. The kitchen team, led by one of the most down-to-earth & talented chefs in Montreal, deserves a huge shoutout. Every dish-from their fresh salads to their delicious pastas & pizzas-shows just how much skill & love goes into the food. The energy in the restaurant is contagious! you can see how much the chefs, servers, & bartenders enjoy what they do, & it totally rubs off on you as soon as you walk in. The cozy, charming dining room just adds to the overall experience, making it 1 of my top 3 Italian places in Montreal, which says a lot considering how many there are. Whether you're dropping in for a casual dinner or something special, Ritaa always delivers. Big thanks to the whole team for making every visit so great-keep it up!

We live right next to Rita & are continuously impressed by the service, the food & the overall ambiance in the restaurant. The new menu looks delicious & we wanted to order everything! We decided to go with a simple focaccia & olives appetizer, followed by the braised beef special, which was just exceptional. We added the tagliatelle & a bottle of wine recommended by our lovely waitress Marie-Ève. Overall experience is 10/10, this neighbourhood spot is charming, elegant & makes you feel like you're at Nonna's having dinner with the family.
Sans aucun doute un de mes restaurants préférés à Montréal ! À tel point que je m'y rend souvent. La carte change régulièrement & en fonction des saisons, & tout est toujours délicieux ! Des antipasti, au plat, jusqu'au dessert, en passant par les cocktails ! Beau resto & toujours un service agréable & irréprochable. Définitivement recommandé
