I went there for our anniversary 7 year me with my husband we order the pasta de jour & pizza also the drink. But I didn't like my food so our servers came which is Marie eve she offer me to change the dish I was happy but when we have to pay the bill I look at the bill & see the price was change so the pasta that she change for me is 32$ without inform me anything. My first dish is pasta salmon for 22$ so I'm not happy that she charge without tell me the price & feel that she took advantage from customer. We won't come back thank you

I have hesitated to go eat there because I live in the neighbourhood, & every time I drive by, the place is always packed.
I finally decided to give it a try; the Holidays Table D'hôte was a great incentive. (58$ per person)
After reading plenty of reviews saying the place does get loud, I decided to book on a Sunday for 6 PM & sat at the bar.
I forgot to ask the bartender's name; but we had an amazing service.
I had 2 Espresso Martinis & Amaretto sour, both were impeccable, made with finesse.
The food was good, I was very impressed by the Duck Risotto I had because they didn't cheap out on the duck.
The homemade focaccia & butter were excellent, the pizza dough is also really good; fluffy, tasty.
I do have to admit that the drinks outshined the food & the bartender's friendliness & conversation made the experience better.
The place got pretty loud around 7pm; it was a full house. It was a bit warm & lighting was slightly too bright in my opinion.
The decor is very nice, personalized, I loved the warmth of the family & pets pictures around the restaurant
Too bad people steal them, since two of the frames had a paper asking people to return the stolen family pictures.. what a bummer.
I would definitely go back since they source local ingredients & everything is homemade, & the menu changes a lot.
I also would go back again at an early time & on a quiet night; a Monday & Tuesday would most likely be less busy.
The total was 210$, for 2 Tables D'hôtes & 4 drinks, which is very reasonable in my opinion.
My friend & I went for the first time during MTL à Table. We sat at the bar. The seats we comfy & the ambiance was lovely. We shared our dishes & they all hit the spot, particularly the autumnal pizza & the eggplant with stracciatella dish. The only menu item that I wouldn't order again would be the spice cake. We will definitely go back!

J'y suis allé pour l'occasion de Mtl à Table & c'était top ! L'ambiance est vraiment sympa, avec une architecture très amenante & invitante. Le volume sonore est très correct & la musique de bon goût.
Les entrées proposées sont succulentes & surtout l'aubergine & sa straciatella. un délice!
Les polpettes, la focaccia & le thon (un peu trop de jus à mon avis) sont aussi très bon.
En plat, la pizza Automno, cuite dans leur four à bois magnifique, est délicieuse & la base Mornay se sent très bien, mais l'ajout de petit piment apporte un plus à ne pas délaisser! (peut-être à revoir la place de la sauge qui n'a pas un goût très prononcé)
Le rigatoni & macreuse de boeuf sont très bon aussi, mais ce n'est pas des pâtes fraîches. (un plus qui ferait toute la différence)
Par exemple, je ne reste pas indifférent face aux desserts proposés; la tartelette est effacée par la chantilly ajoutée par-dessus, & le gâteau aux épices d'automne est moins ferme qu'attendu & donc atypique, mais très bon.
Le Rita est définitivement un resto auquel je retournerai vu la qualité de la nourriture & du service - la serveuse à été très agréable & de bon humeur.
Enfiiiin une bonne adresse de pizzas à MTL. La pâte est vraiment délicieuse & les ingrédients bien travaillés. Hâte de venir dîner sur place la prochaine fois !!

The food at Rita was good, we tried a pizza, a pasta, & an appetizer, & everything was tasty, though nothing particularly memorable. The potato millefeuille, however, deserves a special mention, it was excellent.
The ambiance is cute & cozy, with more of a family-style feel than a trendy one. For one appetizer, one pizza, one pasta, two desserts, & a bottle of wine, our bill came to about $200 including tip, which felt reasonable for what we got.
The service was okay, our server was friendly, but couldn't answer our questions about the wine list, which was a bit disappointing.
The biggest downside was being asked to leave exactly two hours after our reservation started. I know the policy is mentioned when booking, but it was the first time I've been asked to leave before even finishing my glass of wine. The restaurant was half empty, but since we were seated at the bar, we still had to go.
Overall: good food & pleasant ambiance, but the service & overall experience could definitely be improved.
I'd been wanting to try this place for a while, & I wasn't disappointed. The menu looks amazing & it's hard to choose. We shared the tuna tartare to start, super fresh & delicious. For mains, we had the Verdun Hot Honey pizza, which was generous & tasty, & the gnocchi in a squash mornay sauce. The sauce was incredible, especially with the stracciatella & pistachios on top. A really rich, well-balanced dish.
The downside: the gnocchi themselves were heavy & doughy, not light at all. More like dense balls of pasta, which was disappointing.
& the cocktails… we had the raspberry passion one, & honestly, it barely tasted like it had alcohol in it…maybe a drop. Pretty underwhelming for the price.
Would I go back? Yes, because the food overall was excellent.
Nous recommandons le millefeuille x10000! délicieux, onctueux remplis de saveurs. les gnocchis avec le ricotta incroyable, sans mot. la pizza upside down avec l'huile épicée maison WOW. Magnifique service de Marie-Ève tout en douceur & professionnalisme. Très bonne soirée, allez-y!!
What an absolute gem this restaurant was ❤?❤?❤?. We had the zucchini appetizer & the patatoe mille feuille . So very tasty. The honey pizza was a perfect 10 . The peach cobbler was a perfect ending. Service from PJ was excellent.

Excellentes pizzas ! Manger sur place demande de l'organisation car ils sont souvent pleins, mais les pizzas a emporter permettent de savourer leur expertise même a la maison !
Dès notre arrivée chez Rita, on est immédiatement charmés par l'odeur réconfortante d'une vraie cuisine italienne. Le décor est soigné, actuel, l'ambiance vivante, & notre groupe de six était enthousiaste à l'idée de découvrir cette adresse recommandée par Curieux Bégin.
Dans l'assiette, rien à redire : les gnocchis à la stracciatella étaient absolument divins, fondants, savoureux, parfaitement équilibrés. La pizza Verdun hot honey a aussi été un coup de coeur. Les plats du jour, quant à eux, nous ont semblé moins inspirés & nous ont déçus, mais la cuisine principale est solide & bien maîtrisée.
Malheureusement, le service a entaché notre expérience. Si notre serveuse principale était attentionnée & professionnelle, l'agitation autour de nous a vite pris le dessus. Plusieurs serveurs ont tenté de retirer nos assiettes avec insistance alors que nous mangions encore. Un serveur a même nettoyé la table avec un linge à produits pendant qu'une personne de notre groupe mangeait encore… & ce, avant 22 h, dans un resto encore animé. Nous avons senti que ce n'était pas tant qu'on voulait nous faire partir, mais plutôt que le personnel semblait pressé d'en finir avec la soirée.
Nous étions venus pour partager un bon repas, à notre rythme, dans la convivialité. & c'est là où Rita a manqué de délicatesse.
Cela dit, la cuisine est excellente, l'endroit est charmant & le rapport qualité-prix très honnête. On y retournerait volontiers pour les plats, en espérant un service plus respectueux du moment présent.
Un must de Verdun. Minimum 3-4x par année. Les pizzas & pâtes sont excellentes. Belle ambiance, belle sélection à boire & bon service. They don't miss!
Une superbe expérience, que je recommande fortement.
Le service était irréprochable. Notre serveuse a su nous guider à travers le menu en nous expliquant les plats de façon à nous faire saliver. C'en était presque poétique.
Entrée de stracciatella avec tomates ancestrales fraîches, sur un coulis de pesto. Rafraîchissant & délicieux. Nous avons agrémenté cette excellente entrée avec un extra de foccacia maison toute aussi savoureuse.
Pizza par la suite, style napolitaine. Tout simplement exquise avec des ingrédients frais. Les plats de pâtes fraîches maison semblaient tout aussi succulents. Un choix déchirant à faire entre les deux.
& un bon dessert choco noisette décadent pour terminer le tout.
J'y retournerai assurément, lors d'une prochaine visite à Verdun.
