We had a family celebration at Rita's after my nephew received his PhD from McGill, earlier the same day. The food was excellent, & our server Isabel was very attentive & helpful. Loved the food.
Great atmosphere & service. That is definitely a plus. Giving 3 star for lack of flexibility on the menu. If you are a vegan or on a low carb nutrition - you have 2 basic salads at most to choose from. I rarely have issues finding things on the menu that I would be able to eat. But this was the first case where I couldn't, unless I eat something I should not be eating to maintain my balance. Otherwise - great cosy place & would definitely recommend.

The food was amazing! The cheese ravioli served with lobster bisque was absolutely delicious - rich, comforting, & full of flavor. This was my second time at Rita. The first time, I thought it was just okay. But this time around, everything was much better - the flavors, the service, the whole experience. Definitely worth a visit (or a second chance)!
On Monday May 19,2025, we were there at 6:30 with 4 people, First time in Montreal. My kids dropped a folk on floor, right away, they bring you a new one with a smiling face, the food was amazing & you could taste the favours of the food. The decor, plates & utensils look clean. I would recommend this place who love Italian food, clean place with great customer service.

What a restaurant! I came with my friend Felix last week & we both fell in love with the food at this place! for starters, the service was excellent, we made a reservation for 6:30, we arrived 5 minutes early & within a few minutes we were already seated!.
Pasta & Pizza were on point! 👌🏻 I highly recommend the Verdun hot honey! lovely place! we will definitely come back soon!
Chez Rita est devenu un classique pour nous & nos quatre enfants. Nous apprécions la chaleur de l'accueil & la nourriture faite avec un souci tant environnemental que nutritionnel, sans en compromettre le goût savoureux & ensoleillé.

The food was... just alright! The first server was unfriendly, but the second one was nice. The ambiance of the restaurant was decent, yet it didn't quite match the hype. The menu had a variety of options, but none stood out as particularly memorable. The dessert, however, was a pleasant surprise, offering a sweet note to an otherwise mediocre meal. Despite the lackluster experience, the second server's warm demeanor made the visit a bit more enjoyable.

Ce restaurant se démarque par la qualité de son service ! Les serveurs sont attentifs aux petits détails qui font une différence sans pour autant être trop insistants. La nourriture est bonne & à un prix raisonnable pour la qualité. Finalement, l'ambiance est chaleureuse avec les photos de famille un peu partout au mur. Je recommande fortement !
There's something really homey & quirky all at the same time about this place. I really enjoyed my experience. The food is fresh & delicious. I really enjoyed the raviololotto it was amazing I definitely recommend. I also love thst the menu is constantly evolving & that there are always new choices to choose from. I will definitely be back.
Rita pizza not at all tasty take out. Base burnt & inedible near outside in many places & dough quite dry. Olives very strong & salty, whole olives dropped on not pieces. Tomato'sauce' like squirting fresh tomatoes with little flavour onto the base. Minimal cheese.
No option to add anything!! Not worth $18 for 12 inch. Dine in much better according to friends.
