I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Italian restaurant, & I must say, it was an absolute delight! The menu offered a wide array of classic Italian dishes, & everything we tried was bursting with flavor & authenticity. The pizzas were particularly outstanding! I would highly recommend trying the pizza over the pasta, although both were delicious!
Beautiful restaurant in Verdun with amiable service. Our food arrived very quickly. The ambiance was amazing. The food was a let down. We had carbonara pasta & Lia Pizza. Pasta was well cooked but it was way too salty. Pizza was soggy due to the tomato sauce, but the ingredients were better, & sadly the crust were super burnt. We did notify the waiter about it. Overall, the experience was fun but the food was below average & overpriced.
Ho..... Wow.! Restaurant vraiment intéressant. Le menu est court & les plats savoureux, le service est irréprochable, les enfants sont les bienvenus (j'y étais avec ma fille & ma petite-fille)... Il faut réserver, car même les mercredis soirs sont très achalandés. J'y retourne sans hésiter!
Lovely little spot with excellent service & standout salads. Wandered in on the Monday of a long weekend & managed to get a table, will definitely be back!
Excellent service & always a good atmosphere. Always a line up when i come here. Food portions are small for my taste but hey I'm yet to find a perfect place in Montreal.

We came here to celebrate a special occasion. Highly recommend booking as can get quite busy even for a weekday evening. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a friendly face & our waitress Clara attended to us as soon as we sat down. We couldn't decide on the wine & she kindly offered us a taster. For food, we decided to have the fresh Buffarella & Red Beets as starter alongside with bread, followed by the Raviolotto for main. The quantity is decent so this was sufficient for us. The Buffarella was very fresh, sweet & delicate, highly recommended. Red beets on the other hand, in comparison, was a little more ordinary. The Raviolotto was very well made, pasta tasted fresh & the filling, sauce & mushrooms on the side accompanied this dish extremely well. Would definitely recommend this! A word of warning, it is on the slightly heavy side. Lastly to finish, we ordered the Olive Oil Cake. This was extremely tasty, moist & its texture perfectly dense yet light! Really enjoyed this as a dessert & a healthy choice to finish! Clara was extremely attentive & made the evening even better. We had an amazing experience here & would no doubt be visiting again in the near future. Thank you for the amazing service & making us feel very welcomed!
J'ai vraiment eu l'impression qu'il fallait se dépêcher pour manger. Ce n'était pas agréable, aussitôt que je finissais de manger on m'enlevait mon assiette . Ce n'était pas relaxant comme expérience . J'avais des hautes attentes. Très déçue
I've been to rita twice now & wow one of my favourite little italian restaurants! The ambiance & service are perfect, but the food is excellent! Parts of the menu change with the season & I find that so fun m/ original & it's why it makes me want to go back. A must try in verdun!
Un groupe de 12 personnes a visité Rita pour l'anniversaire de ma femme. Pour un groupe aussi nombreux, il faut réserver à l'avance, mais le processus était simple & totalement valable. Le service des plats à la manière d'un repas familial était charmant, tout était délicieux, & il semblait que les plats n'arrêtaient jamais d'arriver. C'était particulièrement impressionnant compte tenu du menu à prix fixe très raisonnable. L'équipe a pris en charge nos allergies alimentaires avec attention, & pour couronner le tout, Sarah & le reste du personnel ont offert un service incroyable. Merci pour ce repas fantastique & cette excellente soirée ! A group of 12 of us visited Rita for my wife's birthday. For a group this large, you need to book ahead, but the process was easy & 100% worth it. The family-style service of the food was delightful, everything was delicious, & it seemed the dishes never stopped coming. This was particularly impressive given the very reasonable fixed price menu. The team attentively accommodated our food allergies, & to top it off, Sarah & the rest of the staff provided incredible service. Thanks for the amazing meal & great evening!
Rita is one of the better restaurants in town (superb food, superb service, superb dining experience), right now. Smart move on their part not to go with yet another classic Italian formula (there are many good classic Italian restaurants, already, in & around Montreal), but to inspire themselves from Italy & come up with something that is cosmopolitan & contemporary exactly like the city where they are situated, Montreal, which allows them to think outside the box when need be (even though, the core Italian flavour profiles are there, for the undistracted minds), & that is a good thing. Here's what I found impressive about Rita: they could have walked away with some approximate Italian food with the excuse that "Hey...I already told ya that I am just a bit of Italy but mostly a lot of Montreal", as per what they clearly mentioned on their instagram, but No...they have opted to be Italian where it should be & doing it very well. That is the kind of action that deserves high respect. Top respect! As for their Pastry Cheffe, wow wow wow (her creations taste great, superb finesse in those creations too). A gifted Pastry Cheffe. I'll happily go back.

Best Italian in town, hands down. Every dish will blow your mind, I promise-I've been here multiple times & never leave disappointed. The service is always above & beyond, & the atmosphere is always buzzing. Perfect for birthday dinners, date nights, or "just because I'm craving a pizza, & it's Wednesday" kinda meals.
Rita is amazing, an authentic Italian food experience, I've been multiple times & always left more than satisfied & very pleased with the service. Shout out to chefs Erica & Joey who made our the dessert for our wedding, Rita's amazing olive oil cake, I would highly recommend if you have room for it ;)
