Fondé en 1960 par les frères Peppino et Federico Corneli, le restaurant perpétue toujours les mêmes recettes authentiques transmises de génération en génération. Entreprise familiale, il est aujourd’hui entre les mains de la nouvelle génération : Nicola, Pina, Alex Corneli et le chef Joe Nicodemo. Les pâtes maison, façonnées à la main par la nonna Donna, demeurent le cœur et l’âme de notre cuisine. Et bien sûr, notre pizza cuite au four importé d’Italie offre ce goût unique et traditionnel qui fait notre réputation.

Les groupes sont les bienvenus, il est toutefois préférable de réserver à l'avance. Notre coin bistro est muni de grands écrans pour les événements sportifs. Notre liste de vins spécialisée et une large sélection de bières et de cocktails sont à la hauteur du zeste italien pour la vie!
Corneli offre une cuisine italienne authentique avec des pâtes maison et des pizzas au four à bois, préparées avec des ingrédients frais et des portions généreuses qui satisfont les appétits variés. L'ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale, tant à l'intérieur qu'en terrasse, fait de ce lieu une adresse idéale pour les repas en famille, entre amis ou en couple, dans le quartier animé de Petite Italie. Le service est attentionné et efficace, les équipes savent guider les choix et assurer une expérience fluide même lors des soirées très fréquentées. Le rapport qualité-prix est apprécié, les plats et les desserts se hissent à la hauteur des attentes et les portions restent généreuses. Bien que l'endroit soit parfois bruyant et animé, la plupart des avis soulignent la qualité constante des saveurs et l'accueil chaleureux qui donnent envie de revenir.
Love the lively atmosphere here. It was hard for us to find an Italian restaurant for a table of 8, so we found Corneli through Google Maps. The decor is beautiful. Love that they never rushed us. Food was comforting & came in big portions. We were looking forward for desserts but we got too full. My sister usually doesn't like mussels but she loved them here :) Highly recommend this place for group celebrations.
I visited Restaurant Corneli for my birthday & overall had a good experience, though I left feeling a bit disappointed. The food itself was excellent. The lasagna was rich & flavorful, the gnocchi had a great texture with a fresh tomato sauce, & the pizza was perfectly cheesy with a crispy crust. Everything tasted really authentic & made with care.
The restaurant has a warm, classic Italian atmosphere, & the service was friendly & attentive throughout the meal. However, as someone who works in the service industry, I was a little surprised that nothing was mentioned or done for my birthday - no small dessert, acknowledgment, or gesture. It's something I always make sure to include for guests at my own job, as it adds that personal touch & makes their special day memorable.
Still, Restaurant Corneli delivers great food & a cozy dining experience. It's just missing that extra bit of hospitality that would've made it perfect.

Resto fantastique! Belle ambiance, bon service & nourriture délicieuse, bien balancée, sans prétention & italienne traditionnelle!
Les entrées - calmars frits, salade César, crab cakes & bufala étaient tous délicieux & copieux!
Les repas - la pizza, les pâtes: cavateli de ricotta faits main étaient comme des nuages dans leur sauce pesto, les linguini avec crevettes & pétoncles supper & les pennine puttanesca bien équilibrées.
Le dessert, Tiramisu & cannollo, bien goûteux & pas trop sucrés!!!!
Went with another couple for dinner. Was impressed with the vibe of the restaurant. Kevin our waiter was a pro. Super friendly & knowledgeable in regard to the menu options. The restaurant was super busy but not so loud that you couldn't hear each other. We started with a selection of appetizers. We had the arancini, fried calamari & the meatballs & they were all delicious. The arancini were crispy & gooey inside. I could have had another. The calamari were not oily & not overly crispy, just perfect with a light batter. The meatballs were the weakest of the three but still delicious. We then all shared the Parma pizza & a garden salad. The salad was good. What you'd expect from a garden salad & the pizza was delicious. I felt it needed to be cooked a bit more for my taste. Finally we shared the veal Marsala & a gnocchi pomodoro. They were both excellent but the veal was the better of the 2. Kevin set us up with a dessert tasting that included 4 amazing personal sized cannolis & a slice of carrot cake, a slice of Ferrero Rocher cake & a slice of dolce de lèché cheesecake. There were all good but ranked as follows, cannoli, cheesecake, Ferrero Roché & carrot cake. An amazing meal all things considered. Would go back.
I had reserved online for Mother's Day, for 7pm sunday may 11. I had a'date' with my beautiful girlfriend whom is also a mother. We arrived 5 mins before 7pm & we were immediately received by Pina, the owner. As I gave my name, she remembered my previous advance request not to be seated near the door & she set us a table at a very nice spot. Kudos to Pina. We started with a drink: Strawberry daiquiri + Peroni beer, of course the beer was for me ! Atmosphere was nice & with soft music in background. We then had pizza: all-dress for her & New Yorker for me. Both pizzas were perfectly well cooked with their wood-oven. The pizzas was delicious. We ended the evening with a capuccino & a café-latté & my'date' had a pistachio ice-cream. Thank God the waiter brought TWO spoons for her ice-cream !!!! We also had some time breaks in-between the drinks, the pizzas & the cafés + dessert which gave us some romantic moments! Meaning to say we had some nice romantic conversations, okay okay yes I also did plant (sneaked) a few kisses on her cheeks !! Our waitor Ryan, was excellent through out the service & he went to great lengths to make sure we were comfortable from start to finish. I must also mention a thank you to the barista girl who prepared our cafés which was very good. & finally at the end of our'date' she was so happy that she gave me some kisses too, but of course on my cheeks lol !! Très bon restaurant italien avec des pâtes excellentes. Les plats sont savoureux. Côté budget, c'est un peu cher & il faut compte pas moins de 100$ par personne avec une entrée, un plat & un café. Si vous prenez un dessert, c'est encore plus cher.
Notre 1ere visite, les pâtes sont excellentes. Bruschetta & salade, miam 😋
Les portions sont généreuses & les desserts ( tiramisu & cannoli ) très bons.
Merci à Niza pour l'excellent service & sa gentillesse. Elle prend le temps de bien s'occuper de nous malgré qu'elle est très occupée. Nous reviendrons c'est certain

Personnel professionnel. Cuisine : pas très raffinée. Ce que l'on n'a pas en qualité, nous l'avons en quantité. Nous avons été reçu avec des bouchées de pizza avec du piment mariné, ça c'était bon. Ensuite nous avons pris des calamars fris, étonnamment c'était pas mal du tout. Le dessert était copieux, j'ai pris un tiramisu. J'aurais aimé un peu plus de café & moins de crème, mais la portion était généreuse. J'ai été plus déçue de l'escalope. Beaucoup trop de panure & pas croustillante. En accompagnement J'ai pris les légumes car c'est rare qu'un restaurant au Québec propose des légumes grillés. Ils n'étaient pas grillés ni très appétissant. L'expérience était bonne mais si je dois y retourner, je me contenterais des pâtes.
Had a great lunch here a week ago, got the ravioli alla Gigi it was a generous portion & so delicious! We also started with baked brie with honey & walnuts that was also delicious just felt that the crustini's that came with it weren't enough but we just asked for more bread to compensate. Finally we had the Ferrero Roche cake for dessert & shared it by 2 it was more than enough. Very rich & delicious my only note was that it was a bit too cold for me, definitely came out of the fridge but it tasted fresh. I will definitely be back to try the pizza next time. The space was really nice & had a good ambiance & music. Our waiter was super nice & attentive!
Superbe découverte hier soir, nous avons adoré notre expérience, la nourriture de l'entrée au dessert était vraiment bonne ainsi que le service de PATRICK ! Pour nous, nous avons trouvé le prix très raisonnable avec apero (2) Une bouteille de vin entrée plat principal & dessert en bas de 200. Ses sur qu'on vas adopter ce restaurant.
My husband & I tried for the first time Cornelli's for our wedding anniversary. Our entrees were a green salad with house dressing (simple & reminiscent of my Italian grandmother's dressing) & arancini which were fried perfectly & moist inside. Our main courses consisted of 2 house specialties, the seafood linguini & the cavatelli pesto mushroom. The shrimp were slightly overcooked on the linguini & the delicious scallop was done properly. The cavatelli pasta was fantastic! The only complaint really for both dishes is TOO MUCH SAUCE! Dessert was good. Service fantastic! I very much liked the atmosphere as it was somewhat "retro" LOL

Nous avions un coupon Tuango. Nous avons pris en entrée polpette de vitello & anranci siciliani. Comme plat prinpal, chacune pizza...l'une margherita & l'autre Di Alfonso. Dessert Gâteau fromage citron meringue & Gâteau Ferrero rocher. Nous avons également pris une bouteille de vin rouge & 2 bloody Cesar. Belle soirée, portions genereuses...nous en avons rapporte. Le seul bemole, c'est le bruit lorsque le resto est plein.
So I am going to make this to the point. The restaurant (since 1960) has provided an excellent culinary experience & it's a lively decor & fantastic staff & a call out to Elizabeth who was our server par excellance!! Food was fresh. Taste & texture amazing. Aroma & plating excellent. Portions & price excellent. Wine selection excellent. They even have imported (from Italy of course) a special fountain for filtered water & bubbly water. Pizza 🍕 was amazing & pepperoni was plentiful & crisp on top with perfect ration of sauce & cheese. Crust was firm & crisp & tasty. Calamari was the best I've had anywhere in the world bar none & the two dips that were fantastic. Elizabeth brought us complimentary focaccia with a hot dip which was crazy addictive. The arancini & sauce tasted like in Italy. The eggplant parmigiana was superb & balanced flavours & sauce & cheese yummy! 😋 Their pastas were also perfect as was their tomato (pomodoro) & bolognese sauces. & the home made tar tagliatelle & cavatelli which was amazingly light & pillowy. Their desserts are fantastic like their home made crème brûle as well as the best in & out of Italie tiramisu- to freaking die for. & the washrooms are lovely, clean, & even provide quality toilet paper too. All I can say is this is an excellent restart be it to take out or delivery pizza, eat in a casual meal or fine dine it's a must & has now become our new default Italian restaurant go to restaurant in Montreal. buon appetito Chow
The place was very crowded & this made people cramped together. The service was good, but slow, we didn't eat dessert because it took too long to bring the menu. I think the place is great, but it has serious limitations on the capacity to serve, you should receive fewer people to be able to receive quality service!

What a wonderful place to go while down in Florida, nice food & the salad I had to start was incredible, my dessert of the donut holes was amazing & was a large enough quantity to satisfy almost anyone! There was however a lot of families around with screaming children which did make the dining experience difficult to enjoy at times, but also means that this place is family friendly!
Le repas principal était très bon, le dessert (tiramisu) n'est malheureusement pas le meilleur que j'ai mangé. Il ne semble pas y avoir de mascarpone dedans. Le pire était la visite d'une souris à la fin de la soirée du coup on a dû quitter rapidement
Notre première & surtout pas notre dernière visite. Bonne bouffe & choix varié de menu, bon vin également offert ! Le service par Valérie exceptionnel & en plus pour la fête de mon mari, très belle attention de votre part, cannolis pour dessert ! Ambiance assez festive, décontractée, pas conseillé pour souper en amoureux ! Très beau décor !
Corneli is a reliable spot for family-style Italian cuisine - with its warm atmosphere & hundreds of photos that captured the history of the community. It’s a relatively upscale place but not too expensive, offering what feels like an elevated dining experience in a beautiful Italian neighborhood.
We enjoyed both pasta & a braised lamb shank, & couldn't resist the fantastic dessert. We loved both food & vibe. Thank you, Corneli team!
Très belle soirée pour ma fête nous avons été servis par des serveurs très agréables & chaleureux, la nourriture était excellente & petit cadeau en dessert pour ma fête, c'est très appréciable! Tout était parfait :)
